Gauzilicious (please, do not eat the gauze)
This product is great for sculpting and crafting. I would not say that it is good for children to use unsupervised, as the plaster powder can be inhaled, and sharp scissors are required for cutting through the gauze. I started using this product in high school (about six years before this review was written), and the teacher used the exact same brand and box. 20 lbs of this stuff goes a long way for small scale projects. It can be used for costuming, sculpting, set-building, and just messing around with goopy white fabric. The gauze comes in large plastic bags within the box, and is folded so the side of the box can be used as a large feed, as is shown in the product photo. The gauze is split into a few long sheets, but each one should be long enough for any extra-large projects. For the price, the amount of gauze is very good. Buying small packs at AC Moore or Michael's will cost far more than buying in bulk here. A problem I have faced with other brands of plaster gauze is the product drying out over time. A year later, with storage in a house that has varying humidity, the gauze has stayed usable and smooth. This is definitely a plus for anybody that doesn't plan on using it all at once.

Great quantity, quality, and price
When I bought this, I wasn't quite sure what I was getting. "20 pounds" doesn't really tell me very much. Well, this is a LOT of material. The wrap is 6" wide, and the box is 15" long and 11" tall. The material is folded fan-style. This is hefty stack of material. I've used Rigid Wrap a lot. This product has a slightly wider mesh opening, but it has more powdered plaster material. Overall, I would say it is at least comparable to Rigid Wrap, and I really think it's a little better. It sticks like crazy to anything porous. I made "ropes" of it and stuck it down to some luan - it is not going anywhere, even though it has a rather small surface area of contact. I highly recommend this. It is good quality at a SMALL FRACTION of the price of other products.

Great price and great product
I build props for local theatre companies and this product was much easier to use with it's box dispenser than the small bags of stuff available at hobby stores.

Energizer bunny box
This box just keeps going and going and going. Perfect for large/multiple projects. Drys fast and sturdy. Great bonding This is the best value across most platforms and ships lightning fast. Would be awesome to incorporate a cutter into the box for making diff size strips

A crafter's delight!
I use plaster bandage for a number of different applications - sculpture, armature, and making props for theatre. It's a great product, but it's usually prohibitively expensive, so I've had to hoard supplies to make them last. Not only is this a high-quality product, but it's the most affordable deal I've *ever* found. The fact that it is packaged in one large box in a continuous accordion-folded strip can be considered both a plus and a minus. On the down side, it's a large, heavy box, so it's not something I can easily transport, so it's not as useful when I need to go from place to place if I'm working on more than one show or using it both at home and at a shop. However, the fact that it's a very wide strip means that I can make nice large pieces, or cut them smaller as needed. It's a very good product and you can't beat the price - this box will last me a good while, and it's exactly what I need!

Great for fun projects of all sorts
Im a big crafter in many areas. I used this plaster gauze to help make my piñata more durable and last longer considering the 6' (yes, six foot) piñata was a birthday gift/party game for an 18 year old celebration. Last the beating of 10+ "corn-fed" strong young adults and they all got to have more than a couple times hitting it! Love the fact this can be cut to the size needed!

Great for wrapping insulation
This stuff is great for wrapping fiberglass insulation on furnace piping. Sealing joints and corners with duct tape works ok, but will unwrap as the tape ages. This is easy to cut and shape around the pipe and corners. What is great is the fiberglass gets sealed in under the cloth and away from your skin so you don't get itchy when changing filters or working around the furnace. Nice professional look too. Simply wrap the pipe and let it dry. Then paint the cloth to make it water tight.

Tips for using this stuff...!😉
This is a very good product...I WILL order again. I have a tip for getting better coverage...it.s been working for me and I.d like to share. Fill an empty spray bottle with H20...then add about a tsp. of liquid soap...dish soap is best...but laundry soap has worked in a pinch. Don.t shake...tilt to and fro until mixed....then when you apply a piece of plastercloth....spray both sides...then apply to the surface you.re working on...smooth it on...the soap/H2O mix gives the plaster a "vehicle" ....a more viscous layering with which to adhere to the substrate more efficiently! And surfaces that are really slick....like plastic or glass....should be "roughed up"...with steel wool....emery file....or covered in paper strips or masking tape to give the substrate "tooth"...something the plastercloth can hold onto and not slide off! I hope my tips are helpful!😊
