Alita: Battle Angel

I absolutely loved this film. The depth of character, width of emotions on display and amount of pure life that exudes from Alita is incredible. She's a fantastic protagonist. And the action sequences were really, really fun, just left a big grin on my face. World building, again A+. I rarely go to see films at the cinema, and have only even bought one or two DVD's in my life. Going to buy this one though.

Perfect adaptation. Follows volume 1-3 of the manga and both ovas. Adapts them respectfully and even links them better. The romance and human aspect is better too. If you've seen sin city you know Rodriguez adapts comics to film perfectly he's done the same here too.

The world building here is astounding. Simply breathtaking, a perfect mix of practical and CG effects help create a distinct and interesting environment. It would all be for nothing if the story wasn't there to build on the look of the film. Thankfully the story is pretty great, which i won't rehash here. But i loved the father daughter relationship that is built throughout the film. The hunter aspect was terrific and had this wild west feel to it. The Motor ball sequences were exhilarating and fun. All in i really enjoyed Alita i highly recommend it. I really hope there is a sequel.

My daughter and I went to see this at the cinema 4 times! And every time I looked at her i saw such joy, a look i remember feeling back in the 80's watching the original trilogy as a young boy, watching something mind blowing, something unlike anything I'd seen before. Alita Battle Angel evokes those same feelings for many, many people. Search for Alita on YouTube and you will find a buzz, sites dedicated to the film with thousands of subscribers. A willingness, a need for a sequel which has created #AlitaArmy. People posting pictures of 75+ cinema tickets! ( i thought 4 was a lot). Star Wars is not ours anymore. It belongs to the pc juggernaut that is Disney. A company that didn't think it necessary to let Luke, Han and Leia share some screen time. Did we not want that? Who are the new films aimed towards? Gen X? If they were then it leaves me perplexed.co As it turns out, there is life after Star Wars and it's called Alita Battle Angel. Just don't let Disney get their grubby mits on it Mr Cameron.

To be honest, I didn't know a great deal about Alita Battle Angel. First time I heard about her was years ago when James Cameron mentioned it after doing Avatar. Then I heard nothing more. Fast forward 8 years, and before I knew it'd even been in production, a trailer emerges. At first I thought, why are her eyes so big? That'll never work. What is this movie? Oh, it's Alita Battle Angel! So he finally made it. Where the hell is Avatar 2?! So I decided to go see it, and see it and see it. What a beautiful movie; gorgeous CGI, great characters, emotional, and satisfying story arcs for everyone, and terrific ending with a great reveal (well, great reveal for me at least as I had no clue that this actor was playing Nova). And as for those eyes? I got lost in them. Their innocence, wonder, confusion, anger and their ultimate sorrow. Deserved to have done better at the box office. Let's hope they still make a sequel.

Alita you have stoll this mans 💜 I do not stand down in the face of evil I onestly need say if you like a great story and plenty action Alita is a must see 😎👍

Fantastic film but does the digital download work in GB as well or restricted to US?

peliculón que aunque no lo ponga, lleva castellano, 4k 3d y br todo en mismo pack... deberían aprender a tratarnos mejor en España y así no compraremos fuera lo que deberíamos comprar aquí... por lo demás se ve y se oye genial y con un Steel precioso 👌🏼 y el envío súper rápido como de costumbre.
