Tough 1Easy Breathe Grazing Muzzle Attach

It's a decent muzzle. I had read that some horses are able to pull the top part down, so I was prepared for that. However, I made sure the halter was snug on my gelding so I had no problems with that. He managed to chew a bit on the center hole and made it slightly larger, but still it stayed intact. I'd say you'd get one maybe 2 seasons out of it, which is fine for the price. It helped my horse drop some weight. I would buy it again.

I have a horse who REALLY hated this but needed it, and he could not get it off. He’s also a larger horse and it fit him well, so if you have a petite horse you might think about getting a smaller size. All in all though, this thing is super duper tough because I saw how hard my guy tried to get it off initially.

Easy to attach. Seems durable. Have a normal size headed Quarter mare. Could be a little larger but it is not too small and she is comfortable in it.Well made, looks very durable. . The only thing I gripe about, not specifically about this one, is the basket/muzzle wears out long b/4 the webbing does. I usually get wear of about 1 year b/4 the bottom hole enlarges.

This is the first grazing muzzle I have used so I can’t compare it to others. I was a little hesitant but it allows my gelding to be out 24 hours with this fresh spring grass without me worrying about him over eating and foundering. I take it off, during the day, and put it on at night when the sugar content of the grass is higher. It took him about ten minutes to figure out how to use it but once he got the hang of it, he was happy. It’s not a lightweight flimsy material so I’m hoping it will last for a long time.

I think this would, maybe be a good product... i was only able to use this for a few days.. it seems durable, the Velcro straps seem to be made well, easy to attach to the halter. There is a nice padded top. Easy to slip on the horse. Maybe could use a strap on the front of the nose to make it a bit more secure. But it rubbed my guys chin raw. I used it for a couple days and it seemed fine. Day 3-4 his chin was raw and exposed. He is not abnormally large nosed, i just think it is a design flaw. I do not recommend this. If you do decide to use this product check your horse over! There are other products our there. I switched to the flexible filly.

Well made but cannot use. Way to heavy. Measured and purchased by measurements... but too big cannot get it snug enough on halter. Waste of money.

My arab rubbed his face against his shelter while wearing this and he managed to shred the stitching that held the velcro straps on. He did it quickly too, took less than a day.

We have an easy keeper who will quickly get sore feet if allowed to freely graze a spring pasture. This spring he spent a few days on what looked like a fairly "safe" section of pasture but nope, after a few days it obviously wasn't so he had to stay in and continue to eat last years hay. He recovered fine but I didn't want to leave him in all of the time so I really needed to find a grazing muzzle. I wanted one that could use a standard nylon halter for durability and this fits the bill. You will need to add a piece of bailing twine or something to the top of the muzzle and connect it to the halter nose band to prevent the muzzle from dropping down and allowing the horse to eat through the large nose holes. I first tried using velcro like others but in the end, bailing twine (although not the most attractive option) is simpler, less bulky and readily available if it gets lost. He doesn't seem to care either way. The breakaway function was added by removing the short section of the halter buckle and replacing it with this "Weaver Leather Breakaway Fuse (3-Pack) , Brown". This looks like a much more long lasting solution when compared to the muzzle/halter combos out there. I was worried that the rectangular opening in the muzzle was going to let him eat too much but after a week of fresh short sugar filled green grass he is still sound and not showing any signs of too much sugar. I feel better and he seems to be happy as well. I did notice a little rubbed spot on the end of his nose but it's not directly from the muzzle fit (which has over an an inch of clearance) but more from his drive to eat and eat as much as possible and push his nose into the ground. He eats slower, drinks just fine, and his feet aren't getting sore so it's all good. All in all I'd say this was a great purchase.

Good product love how it has enough space for breathing. Fast delivery will buy from this company again. But like any muzzle it does rub a little

A voir avec le temps mais à l’aire pas mal, faire attention tout de même a qu’il n’y ai pas trop de frottement sur les côtés du museau du cheval. S’adapte un peu à tout les tailles

Die Maske riecht so stark nach Gummi, ich bekam Kopfschmerzen beim auspacken und als die Maske länger im Raum lag wurde es schlimmer. Das ist wirklich ungeeignet für eine empfindliche Pferdenase. Kann nur eine Warnung aussprechen und würde den Hersteller bitten das Produkt zu überarbeiten.

Love the fit, matched with a break away halter it is safe and works great!
