seems very sturdy and well made. HOWEVER, after purchasing it i found that its not a good idea for a Magpul single point sling mount on my shotgun. if it gets twisted in the wrong direction it will unlatch itself. I encourage you to test it yourself and make sure it wont do the same thing on your home defense gun. im not going to rate this down because its my fault that i purchased wrong tool for the job. i believe its also meant for HK firearms so that might also have something to do with it. you should research getting a mash hook type sling attachment if you think you might be in a situation where there could be a physical struggle for your weapon.

Used this fastener to adapt a sturdy, if basic, Condor sling to a homebrew HK/CETME frankenstein rifle. You need one of these clips for the front sling loop. Don't try to get away with paracord. With the money you saved buying a C308 instead of a PTR91, you can afford it.

It will serve it's purpose as it seems strong enough for what it's designed for. Only time will tell.

It's a tough product that can withstand some abuse.Does what it needs to for my rifle sling.Scrapes a bit of the coating off of my sling swivels, but I'm not worried about it.

Works fine, the clip is generally smaller than what I expected. The strap hole is really small. I was able to cram the strap from my vickers sling through, but was initially very unhappy. Wasn't worth going through the trouble to return or replace. I sprayed mine with Plastidip so it's more quiet when moving around.

Very durable , positive engagement of hook. Fits perfectly with Vtac width slings.

Fits great on my 1' sling. Very sturdy, great product.

I was able to get a 1.25" strap through this on my Blue Force sling; and it looks/works great so far. Made in 🇺🇸 👍
