Issues with HP monitor and Macbook
I have a HP Envy 27'' monitor and 2018 Macbook Pro. When I plugged in this cable, I got the following warning message on my monitor: USB-C Caution - An unqualified USB-C cable has been detected. Please use a qualified HP USB-C cable supported by this monitor to ensure the best performance. I'm not sure if this is something I need to be worried about. There's an option in monitor settings to turn off this warning. I turned it off for now, but I'm probably going to see if I can find a "qualified" cable, whatever that meant. Also I'm not sure this cable can actually charge my laptop, so I'm keeping my actual charger plugged in. Display looks super clean for now, so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3.

Perfect Cable. Says what it does, does what is says.
I bought this specifically for my eGpu setup. The cable that came with the Razer Core X was just a tad bit too short. This was a good compromise for the price. The cable does exactly what it says. First, it is 40gbps. Second, it does charge at 100watts. This is where I was surprised because the cable that came with the Razer Core X was supposed to and my laptop complained that it was not charging at full capacity. After connecting this cable that message went away. That alone made this purchase worth it. After all that I decided to test my eGpu with 3dmark. The benchmarks were slightly better. Here is where I was surprised again. Before this cable I wasn't even able to run the Ray Tracing test. It would bomb each time I would try. After using this cable low and behold, the ray tracing test ran. I am not sure why the cable Razer included was so bad. Unfortunately I don't have a crazy tester like other reviewers, but I hope this helps someone on the fence about buying this cable. Last word, this cable is a thunderbolt certified cable.
