Smell was overwhelming. Like it had just been removed from the mold. Definitely not the same smell as a squeaky toy, if that paints a more accurate picture. Put some toothpaste on and in it—the kind we normally use, and our pups enjoy and lick off their toothbrushes—and our pup hardly wanted anything to do with it. Ended up throwing it out. Was as advertised just as the picture so I can’t say it was a faulty product or not as advertised, or whether it actually cleans your pup’s teeth, but that synthetic smell was unbearable and rendered the product unusable sadly.

I think the product is a great idea. I wish there was one that is even smaller. I think the ones I got are too big for my Jack Russell and Min Pin. I wish the hole on top was bigger in order to get the toothpaste in it. I think it works. I have only tried it once. Hopefully, I can get my doggies to hold it right. That will help with them getting their teeth on the bristles. I think it is a good way to get a dog’s teeth clean if they don't put up with the traditional brushing.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this product. After only two uses, the toothbrush has been damaged beyond use. My 65 lb dog is a strong chewer, so I knew I needed a sturdy product, and I thought this would do after reading the reviews. However, after just 5 minutes into his first session, he had broken off a large chunk of the toothbrush. After the second use, again, less than 5 minutes, nearly 1/4 of the brush was broken off. I have a second dog I tried the toothbrush on, and he just licked at it and wouldn't try chewing it. Maybe with practice he would, but now the toothbrush is too damaged after only two uses! Disappointed.

I can't really see how this product cleans your dogs teeth. The hole that you put the past in is so small. However, I will say, I"ve only had it for a few days. My dog does like playing fetch with it .

I have two Dobermans and one Jack Russell, neither of the dogs will engage with the stick. I tried to lace it with chicken and beef proteins, but they are not interested in it at all. Your dog's mileage may vary.

Bought this for my little dog but she prefers smaller chews and couldn't quite get the hang of holding it down at the base, so I gifted it to my MIL for her two large dogs (retrievers). They love it! It seems like it might be designed for bigger dogs to be able to hold it down with their paws and gnaw on it. Peanut butter or a doggie toothpaste sticks well on it because of the grooves/bristles.

First of all this product is huge, contrary to the description that says medium size dogs can use it. I couldn’t fit it in my mouth. Getting anything into it for my dog to utilize was very difficult. My dog was not at all interested in it. He licked it once and that was it. All of these look the same so I don’t think any of them are worthwhile. Save your money and buy your dog a toothbrush.
