Very poor concentricity.
Hi, received this part and mounted it in 3 jaw chuck that has .001" runout to check it. When bore was checked, runout on collet hole was over .01". I will have to machine the hex end concentric to the bore to make it somewhat useable. If mounted in a 3 jaw independent jaw chuck you could use it as it comes and set it square. It looks like it was made from hex bar stock that was simply mounted into a 3 jaw chuck and the collet end turned without any consideration to the runout of the bar.

Not hardened as claimed
Bought this as I need a collet block. I specifically looked for one that claimed to be hardened so it was durable and would hopefully last me a while. This one is made from standard hex bar stock which I could have made myself; it is not hardened.The nut is hardened but not the block. I gave it two stars as it was reasonably priced and should do the job for at least the short term.
