Love these books
I love these books! I use them with my children who homeschool! Each book teaches a new lesson on language using grammar! The fun thing about these books is you can use them over and over again! When my daughter in 4th grade gets confused on a lesson, she will go get one of these books (which ever one is better for the lesson) and read it again to make sure her work, punctuation, and grammar is correct! Happy mom and teacher!

Love it, used it with a teaching guide and free printable mini book I found online, for my intervention group of 11 special needs, SLD kids. It really helped them understand the idea of the "run on sentence".

Not Grammatically Correct
I wanted to use this for a fun activity with my high school English students to help them clean up their writing. However, the sentences in this book are not all actually "run-on" sentences. The definition of a run-on sentence is technically two or more independent clauses joined without appropriate punctuation or conjunctions. Some of the sentences used in this book exhibit that error, but many of the examples are just long sentences that are grammatically correct. The books seems to be more about being concise than correcting run-on sentences.

Great book
I teach third grade and love this book for teaching about run on sentences (which can be a huge problem with some students).

Sad, when a third-grader notices errors
The supposedly correct story was full of run-on and punctuation errors. My son and I learned a lot simply correcting the text. Sad, when a third-grader notices errors, which an editor should have corrected.
