A great device if your computer lacks a number pad
I recently purchased a computer, the XPS 13, a high-end laptop from Dell. It is a great laptop but it is missing a numeric keyboard or pad. Yes, I knew that when buying the laptop, but I thought the pros of the laptop outweighed not having a number pad. As a retired CPA, I should have trusted my instincts better--I need a separate number pad to speed up entering numbers into Excel, Turbo Tax and my personal financial program, that tracks how I spend my money and how my investments are doing. This tool that I bought from Amazon fits the bill perfectly. It hooks up (pairs) very easily to any bluetooth enabled computer, including an iPad. It requires 2 AAA batteries and the device has an on-off button so I presume battery life should not be an issue as long as I turn the number pad off after using it.The build quality of the number pad seems good and the instructions for using it are decent , not great, but acceptable.In short, if you have a need to type in a lot numbers into Excel or a financial program, e.g., tax preparation software, like Turbo Tax, and your device does not have a numeric keypad, this add-on device is great, and worth the price.

Works Perfectly!
Right out of the box and IT WORKS great! I am absolutely thrilled that I can use it with my laptop and be more efficient with my data entry. Huge Plus to be able to put it at a comfortable distance. I had originally ordered it and could not get it to work the first time. The company reached out and was kind enough to send me another. I give the customer service 5 stars and the quality of their device 5 stars. Thanks again :)

Very good customer service
This numerical keypad did not meet my needs so I returned it. The company contacted me asking what my needs were and recommended a replacement that sent directly to me. It works exactly as I needed and wanted it to. This company has a wonderful customer service policy, very nice to see in today's world.

Decent enough
The feel of this 10 key is good and its easy to pair. The sleep mode is kind of quirky - if you don't use it soon enough it goes to sleep and then you have to get it out of sleep mode - which you have to turn it back on and off and wait for it to connect again. I just wish it didn't go to sleep quite as quickly as it does. That would be my only complaint about it.

Good product and the BEST customer service
I bought this to connect to a Suface Pro 3 but had to return it when it wouldn't connect. I believe at this time that the problem was with the computer - not with the number pad. When I returned it, the company contacted me to find out more details and offered me a discount on a wireless but USB connected numberpad. My money was refunded from the first and the second pad was sent quickly. All the time, they kept in touch with me via email. Got the new pad and it too wouldn't connect but it did connect with a Surface Pro 4 and that's why I think it's the Pro 3 with the issue.I would do business again with this company for 2 reasons - their products that I've handled seem well made - the pads have non-skid "feet" - and the customer service was AWESOME. Big thank you to the customer service group at AceData Direct.

Not compatible with Windows 10
While I can appreciate the customer service I received in trying to help me get this to work, it still did not solve the problem. When pairing, the 1st thing I noticed is that the model number of the product I purchased did not match the model number that my lap top recognized. My product was clearly labeled as a BT-304. My Windows 10 stated that I was pairing with a BT-229E. No big deal I thought. Still don't know if that was the problem. Bottom line is that the instructions on how to pair the keypad never mentioned having to enter a 6 digit code. This is what my lap top required after it detected the keypad. In any order, in every which way possible and in repeating the process over and over again, I could not get the key pad to pair. Red blinking light, then code, then enter, then connect...nothing. Red blinking light, enter, then code, enter again, connect....nothing. Over and over in as many ways possible...nothing. I wish it would have worked because the product itself was nice. Good weight, easy buttons, decent rubber stoppers underneath so it doesn't slide. They tried to help me but the message they sent me to try and help was convoluted and made no sense. They are in China I assume and the sentence structure was not well stated. Windows 10 users.....try something else.

Works well I like it.
Brought this number pad that can add to my gaming keyboard for working. I'm doing data entry that need to input a lot numbers. It works perfectly smooth, easy to add to my computer by blue tooth. The battery seems so far so good. I charged one time after 7 days using. The size is decent, not to big or small. I like it.

Keypad is Very Useful.
Amazing product. The machine is very powerful. I have a micro keyboard that does not have a number pad. It is Very handy especially when travelling or working remote from home. It sits on the table & easily managable! If you are like me and don't have a number keypad this is a great option to have on your desktop and put it away when not needed.
