I love these bookends. They look nice and work well. No complaints!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked these because of the full grip on the bottom and that they said it was heavy duty.Is was urprised at the weight of them but that just increases their effectiveness. I also noticed after I got them they have little screw holders if you think you need to give them extra oomph. That's a genuis idea.

I don’t know why it took me so long to buy bookends, but these things are changing my life!! I have so many books up on our built in shelving, and they all kept falling over. But these have fixed the issue completely!! Even with heavy and very tall books. They are super sturdy and a really pretty teal color. Highly recommend!

When I started setting up my new office, I decided to "upgrade" a few items. The useless, decorative bookends (that fall over at the slightest provocation) were the first items to go. The replacements needed to be small, with a low-profile design that would allow me to see the materials they were holding up. They also needed to be strong enough to hold up a collection of large, heavy art books. After several weeks of casual browsing in office stores, home decor stores, and on Amazon, I purchased two sets of these bookends. Here are the pros and cons:DESIGN: 5/5With a simple, flat design, these bookends don't look garish or ridiculous. The curved corners and softened edges mean you're a lot less likely to accidentally scratch yourself when reaching for a book, or to catch your book on a corner and damage it as you're taking it out or putting it back. These bookends do have a set of ridges across the front (you can see them in the product photo), but they're very shallow.STRENGTH: 4/5They'll definitely hold up your books. Right now, they're holding up a collection of bulky, heavy art reference books. Some of them are hardcover-tall and thin and prone to tipping over easily (one of them has a mirrored finish book cover that scratches easily). Others are wide, floppy paperbacks that tend to bow and deform if they aren't properly stored (think of all of the different paperback "Calvin & Hobbes" collections). The only thing I've noticed is that they do tend to bow just a bit. This problem was quickly solved by bending them inward by a millimeter or two.PRICE: 5/5Office stores typically charge about $10 for a set of smaller bookends that aren't nearly as strong as these. You know the type - they have an opening in the middle and tend to catch the edges of your books as you slide them in and out.OVERALL: 4/5I'd recommend them to any of my friends and family members – and I'd definitely buy them again.

It's funny how a simple set of bookends can make your life better. I have stacks of small notebooks on my desk that I use for writing, and they always tip over every time I move something. These solved that. They are very solid and strong...and the turquoise color is very happy. And not having to wrangle my notebooks makes my life more peaceful.

I use these for softback textbooks and they work reasonably well. I wanted some fancy ones, but they take up space. These are nice because they work and take up as much space as a bookmark.I would not call this "green", but the color matches the picture. For me it's more of a Pantone 292 C, which is 105 red 179 green and 231 blue.

Great product, high quality, beautiful color and affordable price! Very happy with purchase - wanted something simple and functional but not too industrial or ugly. These are perfect and have nice height to hold the vinyl records at one end through DVDs at the other.

These are perfect to keep a row of books from collapsing because you remove one or two to read. Use intermittently depending on the size of your books… height and width. Protects the spine of the books from going wonky because they were not kept upright.
