I bought this for external use - EV charging cable and/or campervan hookup cable crosses the path to our front door so bought this to save delivery drivers and the postman tripping over the cables. Works well and does the job, at least no delivery drivers injured ! I've marked it down slightly though as fitting it for the first time is quite a painful process - the slots in the bottom of the protector aren't cut through so before fitting a cable you need to slit them open with a knife. Not sure why they are shipped like that.

Ideal during Xmas when many cables are likely to be left on the floor unguarded. Stops trip hazards for many occasions.

Good length. But you have to cut it yourself, and I found it very hard to do, and in the cold it’s very hard to straighten out and to fit the cable in. So it’s in the shed

Works as described, maybe looks a little rougher than advertised, but not too bad. I probably would not recommend for very high traffic areas as there is a fair bit of flex because there is less rubber than some similar products, but there is a lot of room for cables because of that, which is why I purchased this one! Be careful when cutting it open, it’s very easy to cut through to the other side.
