I bought this cover to have something different for my computer. This was better than I expected. Great quality and fits perfect. I like that I don't have to unzip and pull it out of a case every time I want to use my computer. Snaps shut and fits snug on computer. Definitely recommend.

Looks and feels expensive ...can carry it casually or to a lecture or meeting and feel comfortable .

I thought I would spend a good week with this case before I would review it, and man has this been a great week. I have gotten so many compliments on it. A lot of people are surprised that it's an actual laptop case because they think it's a professional portfolio. Which is good! I'm going for a sleek, professional look and this allows me to do just that. The part of leather that surrounds the trackpad does not buckle for me as some other users have noted, thankfully.As far as functionality, it does what it's supposed to. Protect my laptop. And it looks good while it's doing it. However, I do have a few gripes about the design which unfortunately made me knock off the 5th star.. One, the color is not truly brown, which I was slightly disappointed about. Don't get me wrong, the burgundy color is FINE it's just not as brown as I expected. No big deal, I like it. It looks good. But not as advertised. Another minor problem I have is the stitching is off around the bottom of the trackpad where the two corners meet which you can see in one of the attached photographs. There is another sharp edge where the stitching is rough on the right side, but that's minor as well. Others have noted various stitching mishaps so I'm guessing this is due to a machine and the cases not being lined up on the conveyor belt properly.. or something. How do mass productions work? I don't know, that's not my job. My job is to review. So here I am.Overall, great purchase for the price. Looks stylish as hell and you can't beat it for $20.

This leather cover fits my Macbook Air 13 perfectly. It is handsome, feels luxurious, and has enough padding to provide protection from minor bumps. Prior to purchasing this case, I had my laptop in a plastic cover. I found that the clip-on portions of the plastic broke easily. This leather design does not have that problem. I have only had the case for about a week so I cannot comment on wear or longevity. I ordered the brown color and, as another reviewer noted, the color is more burgundy than brown but that is not a problem for me. I prefer the color as is. There is a stout leather flap that opens under the computer to allow for ventilation. It also gives the keyboard a five or ten degree tilt that makes typing easier. Unfortunately, it extends only in the central 65% of the base so there is some wobble when you type, not serious, but I wonder if it might have been more stable if two separate vents, closer to the sides, had been placed. Doing that, however, might have increased the cost. And the low price of this case, keeping in mind the high quality, is one of its best features. I have not seen a better overall value for protecting your computer. And to have such elegance thrown into the mix - its a keeper.

Doesn't fit 13in Macbook air

The material seems very nice and luxurious, despite the low cost. This is definitely a high value case.However, I don't know if this is an issue because of the material or the product itself, but it's both too big and too small on my laptop. Why spend over a 1000 on a laptop with high design values and cover it with a case that fits poorly? The monitor half doesn't really grip and slips out as you adjust the angle of the screen. The keyboard half seems to stretch the bottom half so much that the material won't lay flat on the keyboard, in particular the thin strap meant to lay between the trackpad and the keyboard. It's a mild issue, but very annoying considering that this is supposed to be a beautiful case. It's distracting as well, as the material rises about an inch off the laptop in that spot.If you're a perfectionist, don't get this case.If you want a low cost, high value leather case, this is it.
