Unique design! These clips have a springy adjustability. I have been using Plylox brand for over a decade with OSB for hurricane shutters. I have recently switched to 16mm clear Polycarbonate panels and the Plylox clips slip right off. I tried all 3 sizes of Plylox and they all slip right off when any pressure is applied to them. These Hurr-Pro clips hold the Poly panels securely with no slipping, and they are less expensive than Plylox. Happy with the purchase.

They are for hurricane protection, I think they will work ok,just don't know how hard or easy they will be to take down. Haven't try that part of it yet.

The media could not be loaded.  I have 16 windows in my house. I cut plywood to fit. Hurricane Ian just blew thru my town. Guys, get these!!! You won’t regret it. Slide them onto the edge of the plywood and line up the bottom of the wood in the window and pop it into place. They are VERY secure!!!! And easy peasy to remove. Genius invention. Can’t say enough good things about this product.

Just an update:We are about to have our first hurricane this year.I had all 8 windows put up in less than 5 min!Im spending the rest of the afternoon watching my neighbors struggle with their aluminum ones.10 star product!Since ive been home for a couple months with plenty of time on my hands because of the virus, i figured i would finally get some plywood and do the shutters for the upcoming season while its easy to get plywood.These clips are amazing, after i was done cutting all the plywood, i put them all up AND took them all down within 20 minutes.I cant wait for the next hurricane so i can watch my neighbors struggle with their old aluminum ones :)

I bought these for my sister in Florida ahead of hurricane Dorian. She asked me to post this review for her. She gave these clips a glowing review. She also has phylox clips, she said these clips are so much better. She said they are made better and so much easier to use. She is 70 years old, lives alone and was able to put all of her plywood up in half the time, by herself because if the way these clips are designed. She is in the middle of Dorian at this minute and the clips are doing beautifully. Trial by fire. She highly recommends these clips.

Easy to use. I like the wedge design that works with different thicknesses of wood. I used mine to board up a brick home. We had three storms in a span of about 1 year, so this made it really easy to install and remove my plywood each time. We have about 15 windows and I can install everything in under 30 minutes.
