Started to go with off brand to save a few dollars...
Started to go with off brand to save a few dollars but decided against it being that these were cheap as well. They literally pop right in and work just like it did from the factory. I love my little electric weed eater. I mow and weed eat twice a week and have quite a good amount of ground to cover and even though I do have two extra (larger batteries) (I have the blower as well) I do it all and edge the entire driveway and walk way with the smaller battery that came with it. Back to the string spools. They do everything I need them to. Knocks down small weeds, thick weeds, and edges like a charm. All without stopping to restring or beat the spool trying to get more string out. I don't see how anyone could complain unless they are trying to bushhog with this thing. Never thought I'd say this...but I LOVE my electric weed eater, blower, and hedger, light, powerful, and SIMPLE. I love the idea of replacing the entire inner spool instead of winding string. Time is everything to me and this saves a ton. I'll buy these again and again and again so long as I'm capable of weed eating!

The string is great
The string works great on my little weed whip. We got an extra battery for the small city lot we are on to get all the chain linked fence and loose ends the mower can’t get. It’s light weight. Nice fit for someone without a lot of strength. That cap didn’t fit our weedwacker but the 3 pack did.
