Great Entry to PC Gaming
Bought the $700 version with the Ryzen 7 2700 processor and Raedon Rx 580 4GB. So far have been loving it. Runs the games I play well and beautifully. Benchmarks: ARMA 3: ~50-60FPS on Ultra Settings, dips a little during heavy actions XCOM2: 60+ FPS on Ultra, consistent TW: WARHAMMER II: Typically 60 FPS, can dip below during massive battles Rising Storm 2 Vietnam: ~80 FPS, consistent This machine can run many modern games at around 60 FPS on Ultra or High graphics settings, Pros: Decent specs for the cost, building a similar computer would cost around the same and doesn't give you a warranty Great performance on many modern titles Plenty of room for upgrades, will want to install an SSD eventually for those fast load/boot times Cons: Graphics card (RX 580 4GB) can be loud and run hot. I recommend downloading the AMD software that allows you to tweak the GPU's fan settings, and raising the curve there significantly Can freeze up for a few seconds Hard disk storage is inherently slow, the one included is decently fast for a hard disk but in this day and age you'll want an SSD if possible. Summary: Great entry level computer for those looking to get into PC Gaming, and has enough room to upgrade it later down the line. Would be a good option for kids as its not significantly more expensive than say an Xbox One X, and you can use it to teach them about computer parts and upgrading (if thats your thing). Similar cost to building your own, but with the peace of mind from the warranty.

Runs well!
Before I got this pc I was using a simple laptop. Played WoT on low... Played Civ 5 on medium... Played every single total war I have on low... Tried to play PlanetSide 2, it crashed on minimum.... Heroes and generals minimum. Then I got this desktop, an amazing machine! All games I just said I can play on ultra, no bad frame rate drops. The only complaint I have is noise spikes. Once in a while, it has noise spikes, but the PC is running fine. I like the open case, but that means I'm gonna need to clean the inside more often. Overall I highly recommend this pc. I do school on this PC as well, very good for browsing around and multitasking. Edit: played war thunder on highest settings, 100 - 120fps with no noise spikes. Edit - overheats a lot because the fan settings are set really low on automatic. If you want to play high-end games I suggest ordering three fans. Two to upgrade the stocks and one for the front mount. Also, manually boost the fan speed in the AMD Radeon settings. That's what I did and it stays at 58- 63C. It's been a month or two, still running quite well, just gotta get some new fans. How to change fan curve - go to AMD Radeon settings - gaming (top left) - global settings - global WattMan(top right) - scroll down to fan and temperature - slide the Speed/Temperature to manual - slide the pwm around to what you like. 3/25/2020 edit - Assassin creed odyssey runs really well on high, have had no problems with it. It hasn't been slowing down on me. The pc is just really consistent and I'm loving it. I'll probably use this for another year or two. With some research, I have seen that I'll need to cut the chassis to swap out the power supply. I don't think I want to do any cutting. So my plan is to buy a better pc 2 years from now and practice upgrades with this one. Edit: still own the PC and use it normally. Still enjoying it a lot. I would not suggest getting this pc if you plan on adding higher power components.

Excellent choice on a budget - Haven't found a game it cannot run decently.
GENERAL: Excellent all around computer. Truly can be used to dabble in a little of anything. Music Creation, Gaming, Video Production (I would imagine heavy 4k+ editing would be a challenge). PROS: - Quick setup, no technical knowledge required what-so-ever - Performs admirably at most tasks I throw at it - Processor performs like a beast - 8 Core with 16 logical processors - Dedicated GPU offers 4 monitor support with DX12 - Performance in games is honestly incredible for the price of the GPU - Good connectivity including wireless, Bluetooth, ps2 ports, gigabit Ethernet, "enough" USB 3 ports - QUIET - I am not sure what people are on about in regards to fan noise. Maybe it's a defect in certain fans? CONS: - Blue light can be bright for some people, I consider it a non-issue - 2 DIMM slots already filled with 2x8GB - Doesn't come with SSD to start with, requires cloning to a new one - If you do any upgrades to the GPU you will need a new PSU - Cooling is weak - Good overclocking support isn't really a thing on this RECOMMENDATION: (Note: This computer is 100% ready to go out of the box and runs fine, unless your a "pro gamer" this will do the trick without the recommendations.) - Get an 2.5in SSD or M2 drive and clone the drive you already have, it's worth it. Go with m2 NVMe if you can - Down the line if it's feeling a bit weak beef up memory speed and crossfire with another 580

Hard drive upgrade to one terabyte NVMe M.2 makes this a beast!!!
So this unit is amazing for what it is. Note: No DVD drive and it’s not set up to add one but an external dvd or blue ray burner would work great. I highly recommend you immediately upgrade the hard drive with a one terabyte NVMe M.2 hard drive ( cost me a little over $100) which turns this box into a super power of its own with a six second start up!!! And an even faster shutdown!!! The computer as is is ok but it’s real potential is released when you add the NVMe M.2 hard drive! Basically to be clear you won’t be super happy unless you immediately upgrade the hard drive. The memory is very picky when you upgrade the memory you must get exactly the same memory just a larger size as it only has two slots so two 16 gig chips could give you 32 gigs of ram!!! But each chip has to be compatible!!! Be very careful upgrading the ram. Basically upgrade the hard drive to NVMe M.2 first if that’s not enough then upgrade the ram if you still feel that you need too, but I don’t think you will need too this is a beast of a machine once you upgrade the hard drive.

Customer Service Can't Fix My Computer (updated)
I was excited to get this computer as all of my previous computers had very little by way of handling graphics very well. Setup was easy enough and it loaded quickly. I thought I had a great machine until I tried plugging in my earbuds into the jack. I noticed a loud buzzing sound coming through. I looked and there were two different jacks to plug in earbuds. One jack (in the back) didn't work at all. The other up front just made a loud buzzing sound (in my earbuds). Even though my earbuds were fairly new, good quality earbuds, and even though they worked fine on my previous computer I decided to try other earbuds. Some of them didn't even work, and those that did had a buzzing sound. When I plugged my own back in I often could not get the sound to work at all again. Finally I contacted Dell and they ran me through a bunch of steps to check things out. Ultimately they believed it was a hardware issue and asked me to send it in for repairs. They said it would take 9-10 days. It was the middle of December and even though they said I'd get it back before Christmas I decided not to send it in yet because I wanted the computer to be here for a Christmas present. After the holidays wound down and family returned home from visiting I sent my computer in to Dell in mid January. I have yet to see my computer or know when or if I'll ever get it back. At least three tickets have been created for my computer, though I've contacted Dell about three times that amount. On two occasions they've gone to check the status of my computer and after a bit of a hold they just hang up. When I do get any kind of response all I keep hearing is that the part is not in and they can't fix it. They'll let me know when they can fix it. I'm really not sure if I'll ever get my computer back again to be honest. I've suggested they replace it with something equal or better. I've suggested they find another way to compensate me; but they simply ignore my requests. I hate to give poor reviews; but this has been pretty ridiculous. If you buy this computer I just hope nothing ever goes wrong with it so you won't have to send it in and go through the nightmare I'm going through. [Update: I finally received my PC back after more than two months of being in their shop. The good news is that... wait, there is no good news. My computer still does the same thing, same annoying sound, and to make things just a little worse, they were unable to get my original harddrive to work so the files that I had on my harddrive... lost. This has not been fun. The computer seems to run fine with the other basic applications I've tried; but other than that I've been disappointed.]

OK desktop for those that do not know how to build one.
The computer is decent. The RX 580 is good enough for the games I currently play. 60FPS and above is doable. The CPU is quite good but it's held back by the slow RAM installed at 2400 mhz. The motherboard does not support RAM speeds above 2400 mhz. It also only has 2 DIMM slots so you get two 8 GB sticks and can upgrade to 32 GB but due to limited speeds, don't bother. The wiring in this thing is pretty bad. Trying to add a SATA SSD or an extra HDD can be a pain due to the bad wire management. Had to re-organize the wires in order to get the SSD in properly so the SATA cable and power cable could reach the slot. I even had to move the HDD to the other HDD compartment because the power cables needed for the drives are on one line and it has connections for the drives every 2 inches or so and you cannot move the connections up and down the wires. Theyre stuck at a certain place and requires you to reorganize the wire so you can get each connection to each slot. Also, there are unused wires that just hang there. I thought I accidentally pulled some wires out but nope. Theyre useless connections that are left hanging. The computer does have 2 M2 SSD slots so if you want an SSD installed, get an M2 SSD since its so much easier to install. But they are pricier. The fan seems okay. It keeps the system cool but it is noisy. Not too loud but its quite audible. The CPU cooler is ok as well. Would replace both if I were you. The motherboard needs replacing if you want to upgrade as stated above regarding limited DIMM slots and RAM speeds. The power supply should be one of the first things to replace. Looks so cheap. Doesnt even have an off and on switch? Im new to PC gaming but chose this PC due to the decent hardware like the Toshiba HDD, RX 580 and Ryzen 7 2700. BUT! Everything else is cheap. Dunno if this was worth the $630 price tag. But at least I got something to start with.

I normally build my computers but this is worth it.
There is so much to say about this computer... I'd like to start by pointing out that many people complaining we're giving bad reviews are doing so for a separate model utilizing the Nvidia card model and this review is explicitly for the Radeon 580 one. This is absolutely worth the price and you would only save 20 bucks building this yourself and you have to put in all those rebates and deal with individual part warranties as opposed to the extremely great deal of a 3-year warranty offered for this model. It is upgradable and is VR ready. To clarify this is definitely a budget gaming PC and you're going to mostly be running everything on ultra settings at 1080p. The only downside to this is you're probably going to want to get some extra fans down the line and eventually going to want to swap out the 460w power supply as well as eventually changing out the Radeon 580 that has 4GB of vram for either the 8GB vram model. You can also buy an SSD for real cheap as there's plenty of room for it so not only does this computer perform incredibly well right out of the box it also has the capacity or some great upgrades down the line. Parents you definitely want to get this model for your kids if this is the budget you're shopping in because there is nothing else prebuilt for under $900 that's going to be worth it like this is. ** I DID NOT CHANGE STARS BECAUSE PRODUCT IS STILL GOOD BUT I THINK IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL FOR AMAZON TO LOWER THE PRICE OVER $100 DOLLARS AND NOT HAVE PRICE PROTECTION FOR SEVERAL YEAR LONG PRIME MEMBERS WHO SPEND THOUSANDS A YEAR ON THE SITE 2/5 FOR AMAZON **

Well worth the money.
This computer is sleek looking, and works perfectly. I subtracted one star because of the unnecessary add ons that keep popping up, such as McCaffee they keep wanting to buy, and also the horrible One Drive which maxxes out quickly then wants you to spend money, and when you go to delete things from One Drive it also deletes them off your desktop. When I deleted some of the files from OneDrive, I went back to my desktop and to my horror everything was gone! Took me 5 hours to find and restore my data and programs, then to delete/unistall One Drive so that never happens again.
