Dead company, good product
As per usual, I am buying these because you can not find them anywhere. Good price and good performance. Too bad wink itself won't survive but this will work in Smartthings. Great seller, I've bought 2 others from them before.

Didn't work then started working
Note: there is a newer version of this, WHO-02, which is not mentioned in the product description. No idea if that adds functionality.First time I tried this with the wink app, nothing worked.I just installed it again, and it seems fine, if a bit delayed when you turn it on/off.I'm not sure if I'd order another one given it not working the first time around and quirky being out of business. That said, it's a good price and it's a pretty attractive outlet.

Messes up your zigbee mesh
When using with smartthings, it messed up our zigbee mesh 3 times where we had to re pair all zigbee devices. Even on wink I wouldn't completly trust any of the quirky products. Stick to zwave plus and zigbee 1.2 non quirky products on wink, vera or smarthings and you'll do much better. Stay away from this one if you can!

Poor documentation
The web site and the install steps all showed a graph of electrical usage. I have not been able to figure out to generate this graph. Very poor documentation.

Not too shabby.
I had a little hiccup with installation that I think most people are going to run into. It concerns the wire connectors supplied with the outlet. They are 2 and 4 pole connectors that are very similar to "backstabbing" poles you see on many switches and outlets. Glossing over that lots of electricians will tell you backstabbing is not a good (safe) way to connect wires, the connectors provided are 2 four pole connectors coded green and white, and 1 two pole connectors coded black. Many (most?) outlets are mid-run, meaning they have a hot and neutral leg running into the box, connected to the outlet, and then running out again to the next outlet on the line. The supplied wire connectors are insufficient for this pretty typical installation, as they only provide two poles for the hot leg (one coming into the box, one connected to the outlink). This means you can only use the connectors to install the outlink at the end of a run, or commit an electrical faux pas and connect the hot legs with the green connector and the ground with the black connector. I'm not telling which I did ;) You may find you need to strip the insulation back too, the insulation on my solid conductor wire was too thick to nest in the connector, so I had to strip it back so only the conductor was in the connector, being careful not to leave any exposed copper. A slightly bigger opening on the top of the connector would have resolved this. The insulation on the multistrand conductor on the outlink itself nested just fine.On the wink end of things; the product paired easily. It does, however, show up in the "all-lights" group which I have an issue with. I don't have any lights plugged into my outlink, and I don't want my "all-lights" robots controlling it. Outlink is marketed as an energy saving device for appliances, so why it's in the lights group at all confounds me. Wink, however, tells me this will be fixed in a subsequent update (seems like there's always "an update coming" with these guys). On the nit-picky side of things; I'd love to see the energy usage in real time, and use it to control robots. My application would be that if I'm drawing more than a set current through the device at night, I'm still watching tv and the thing should let me be. If, however, it's below the threshold, my entertainment center is in standby mode and I've gone to bed; at which point it should turn the power off to save a watt. I can dream...

Awesome! Even better with Amazon Echo.
Great product! Works so well with the Wink Hub and App. Also really awesome to use with Echo! Can tell Alexa to turn on and off individual outlets. This works really great when you want to drop vampiric loads from the entertainment centers.

Does the job
Works fine. Kind of a hassle to install, but no worse than any other. Seems to work fine so far.
