I agree with other reviewers that it seems weak. Four "leg" pieces would have been useful and if you do not have soft ground to push the upright anchor into it would be necessary to make a hole with something stronger and then insert the piece provided. I hope that it will be strong enough to support the plants and bush I am using it for and may say nicer things if it works through the summer season.It was the only plant support for larger plants that I found in all my searching, I can not imagine why there do not seem to be any other types available.

Because one of our gardens has some very tall native perennials - hyssop, brown-eyed Susan, echinacea and more - we finally decided to use more of these grow through grids to support them during the torrential downpours that seem to happen more frequently in our northern summer season.In less than an hour, we staked 20 plants. Even though we pinch back early in the season to encourage bushier plants, they still reach heights of 5' - 7' in a season.With the melodramatic thunderstorms common these days, many of the tall plants would split in the middle and no amount of staking or tying would fix them.Thanks to the grow through grids the plants should stay whole no matter the weather. We look forward to a better looking garden that might finally be weather proof. Yay.

These grow thru grates work extremely well for many plants I choose to use them for my peonies. The legs are tall enough to hold up the blooms
