Spare Tube For SS-02 (2pcs./set)

These work well to replace the tip on my Engineer solder sucker. Just cut them to the appropriate length when your tip starts to wear out.

I cut a section off one tube and finaggled it onto a cheap $12 desolder pump tip to give it better suction. The tube itself has a small diameter so I was afraid it would tear if pushed too hard, but I got it onto a screwdriver and transferred it to the desolder pump and can say that it's fairly durable. It didn't melt at 380°C, but the small diameter means that you'll have to manually unclog the pump since the lead/tin globs get stuck in the tube

Bought these for the Kotto-made knockoff of the Engineer solder sucker. If you're in the same predicament, these work perfectly in that solder sucker. Probably expensive for two pieces of silicone tubing, but with how little you need on the solder sucker, this should be a lifetime supply for most hobbyists.

These are spare consumable parts for the manufacturer's solder sucker. May as well pick them up so you can replace the tubing when needed.

The product arrived without any physical damage or cosmetic imperfections. I found that a lot of people say that the tube for the nozzle is too expensive for the quality, which the manufacturer offers. While one part of it is true, the other part is not. The tube is quite sturdy and resistant to heat. I used it with a soldering iron set to 380 degrees Celsius and I was de-soldering an 87 key mechanical keyboard. Personally, for me that is enough, even if that's overpriced. If you're going to do a lot of work with a solder sucker, then get something that John W. told about in his review.

Fits properly

So I bought these because I often lose things and sure enough that happened. Then I found my Spare tube and bang I am back sucking in no time. If you like to lose clear tubes too, maybe pick up these spare tubes. I still have one left, so I should be good for the rest of my natural life. Thank goodness for it being a two pack. You seriously shouldn't need a review of clear tubes. Buy these if you need them and they will work exactly how you expect.... as a tube.
