Who Would Win?: Ultimate Showdown Review: My review - This is a great book if you like to know if an animal fights with an animal who would win Niko Review: Fun book - My 8 year old son enjoys these books. He's in 2nd grade but an advanced reader. He has no problem reading these books and has read them for the past year or so. He learns cool facts and it keeps his interest. I've read it too and some of the "battles" are actually pretty interesting.

“Must have” for kids!
These are the best books! My 4 and 6 year old sons have 3 now and they have talked about them all day long for almost 2 months now! It is educational in such a fun way. They love coming up with their own potential “who would win?” and why they would win so it sparks critical thinking too! Very highly recommend!!

great deal if you enjoy the series
This book is a compilation of five other books in the series. As such, the list price is a fantastic deal. If you already own many books in the series, you will want to see if this one has enough new stories to be worth purchasing. If you are new to the series, this is a great place to start since it incorporates five books into one. (The five books combined in this one, as listed in the description, are: Lion vs. Tiger, Hammerhead vs. Bull Shark, Polar Bear vs. Grizzly Bear, Hornet vs. Wasp, and Triceratops vs. Spinosaurus. If you search for the individual books on Amazon, you can get a preview of each one to have a better idea of what is included in this 5-in-1 book.) I love the design of this series, with interesting facts peppering the pages and a mixture of pictures and drawings. The information mostly focuses on the two battling animals, but sometimes the authors wander to other topics (like describing honey bees for 4 pages of the Hornet vs. Wasp story). There are enough simple facts that some preschool children would probably find the stories interesting (especially if parents skip the more detailed information), but older children can also enjoy reading and learning. The information covered varies depending on the animals. The Lion vs. Tiger story, for example, focuses on physical descriptions as well as information about habitat, diet, and daily life. The Hammerhead vs. Bull Shark story includes information about those sharks' anatomy, living habits, & daily life, but it also incorporates information about other varieties of sharks (ex. comparisons of teeth & fins) and shows how nature is copied in human inventions ("You could say that the space shuttle was designed by nature millions of years ago"). The Triceratops vs. Spinosaurus story finishes with a bit of a cliff-hanger: "It's one hundred million years later. We are on a dinosaur dig. The paleontologists have unearthed dinosaur fossils. Who won the fight? Turn the page for the answer." In this edition (the 5-in-1 book), the next page is a checklist to compare the lion and the tiger so the reader can decide which animal would have won. The four pages after that are checklists for the other stories. Once you get there, the checklist for the dinosaur story is actually the conclusion (with a picture that answers the cliff-hanger question). Because of the 5-in-1 book's layout, other reviewers seem to think a page is missing, but the answer is just a few pages later than it should be since the checklists at the end of all 5 stories were pushed to the end of this book. *I have to be honest, I almost gave the book 3 stars just because it pointed out (as a "Cool Fact") that "Honey is bee throw-up." I really could have lived a better life without knowing that. Most of the other "Cool" or "Fun" facts really were truly interesting, though.

Great book
My son loves these books and has most of the series. From learning about the animals to the battle between both animals, it’s a great read.

Love that it comes with multiple animals in one book
My son loves these books. He likes learning about all the different animals and which one is stronger than the other. We do have to read them to him at 6 years old. He may be reading them on his own in the next year. He can read easier books than this one. But he learns a lot.

Very interesting book for kids. Informative and with loads of picture, and not too much of text. My 5.5 year old boy just loved it. We ordered both parts.
