Adventures of the Soul Kindle Edition

Wow, where do I begin? This book has such good buzz that I brought out my yellow marker to highlight passages that I might enjoy. I killed my highlighter. Honestly - it ran out; I had to get a new one. I just finished the book and I am literally going to start it again. It felt like James was sitting down talking to me; the prose is that good. There is so much information in the book but it is told in such a strait-forward, friendly way that I feel like I know James personally. It reinforces so much of what I personally think about spirituality that to have that confirmation is like being wrapped in a soul blanket. I read a lot of spiritual books and this one has skyrocketed to the top 5 of my all time favorites. OK, enough gushing - I just want to go back and read it again. Highly recommended.

James Van Praagh very clearly explains so many things my clients have asked me over and over about life and the spirit world. Most of what he shares have been things I have been aware of for several decades through my own work. To see his words before me was validation to what I felt was the truth. I didn't want to put the book down as it was like sharing my beliefs in conversation with a dear friend. His book gives clear understanding and direction, without judgement of right or wrong, for everyone no matter where on their journey they are. This book can benefit EVERYONE if only they take the time to read it and apply it to their lives. Seldom do I find a book that would benefit so many of my clients, this one is without a doubt the number one for them.

I purchased Adventures of The Soul prior to its release thinking it would help me during this difficult time. Now I have no doubt that my dad passed with no pain and at peace.Adventures of The Soul validated so my questions I had as a young child about religion, death and spirituality. James lite a fire in me to dedicate time for meditation and now I am on a spiritual journey. My anxiety has been replaced with peace and hope. I am learning and growing daily. After reading Adventures of The Soul I continue to turn to its pages every day for more manna.James thank you for helping me understand there is more to life and sharing the tools to live it to its fullest. Adventures of The Soul not only helped me with my grief but with my life.

This kindlebook of Adventures of The Soul Journeys Through the Physical and Spiritual Dimensions by James Van Praagh contains details such as envisioning oneself as spirit that needs body rather than a body with a soul (which I admit may take me a bit (about 2 months) to assimilate and completely accept). He also shares that he had a conversation with late author Debbie Ford about the soul and his explanation of the various planes/realms (such as the distinction between the intermediate plane and the celestial plane. Van Praagh admits that he would like to describe how the afterlife is like through the perspective of how Debbie Ford and other souls have described the details to him, it is just that his human perspective could only explain so much through the way written language is interpreted. He also explains how he sees the difference in being spiritual versus religious, among more details in this book.

James's talks and lessons have had a profound influence and effect on my life. This has been my favorite book of his.It's different than his other books. We all know of James as a medium, so his books have been focused on death, the afterlife and communication with those who have passed.This book gave me lots of insight as to how to live a better life, how to change my life and the world around me and to make a great effect on those whom I come in contact with.I read all of it in one 3-hour sitting and I plan on re-reading it again in the future to let the lessons sink in even more. Plus, it's easy to take the lessons, think you'll go on learning from them, and then slowly let it slip away. This is why I will definitely be re-reading it - because I truly think that the lessons are very valuable and I don't want to forget them.

This new book by James is one of his best yet. The souls journey is so controversial and mysterious to most people and since I have been connecting with the loved ones on the other side, I find there is so much that cannot be expressed in human terms and James Van Pragh has the years of experience to do just that in the most understanable way. There are many good books by other mediums but I am most delighted with everything James writes -- he never says that his is the ONLY way and his view of that side of the veil is the ONLY one and that to me is the perfect way to share his wisdom and expertise with everyone. I think he gives wonderful guidance to those try to do our best to share our gifts with clients and I recommend his books constantly to my clients (and this one for certain) because of the comfort ihis books bring, as well as his knowledge that gives a feeling of trust in the spirit world and what happens to our soul when we return HOME.

I absolutely LOVED this book. My Mother died this past summer and I so wish that I had had a copy of it to read to her. She was very scared of dying (she had cancer) and feared judgement in the afterlife. If I could have read even portions of Jame's book to her, I just know that her transition would have been easier.Thank you James, for this book and for all of the amazing work that you do.You are a beautiful soul.

For those who are newbies to the soul and spirit realm, this is a five star, glorious book that will inspire your understanding and answer many of your questions. For those of us who watch "The Dead Files" regularly, think Shirley MacLaine should run for president (you go girl), and already have at least a basic knowledge of the expanded dimensions, this book is entertaining and genuine but a true beginners storybook. You can blow through this booklet in a few hours; approx. 157 pages of writing then some poems/more pearls of wisdom.I agree with most (damn near all) of Mr. Van Praagh's reflections of experience. He is a gentleman, I can tell, and his abilities are remarkable. He writes of truth.

I love James he writes from.the heart with a wealth of experience as a medium... Being a medium of over 20 yrs myself I agree with his written work, he keeps it simple and to the point..and I cannot say that about all books written in this genre. Well done James I have read all of your books this one was another good read. Well written, .well done .

I haven't read this much yet but I love James Van Praagh's books and can't see why this would be any different. James is a great writer and his books are very easy to read.

Beautiful book, very loving message about life beyond. I found it very inspiring, it resonated on many levels and felt like truth. I read it in a very short time which for me shows a good book.

Some of these books are more harder to understand than others but overall I love reading them all

Very insightful. Jamie's writes this book sensitively and with knowledge. Very comforting to those who have lost loved ones.

Loved reading the book found it interesting how a soul develops and its journey it takes .some beautiful points made in the book make it very employable.

easily understood educating book

It's an interesting read but not quite what I was looking for. If you want to know more about astral travel than this isn't the book for you. The author speaks very briefly of this subject. Good but not the information or details I was seeking.

Enjoyed this book very much! Talked a little about every topic so not too in-depth but at same time it was enough to inform and on to next topic! Very interesting fast read! I would recommend.

This book brings such clarity to how we each have so much control over the choices we make and how we need to acknowledge how these choices have affected our inner happiness. Being aware of how we treat others and how we can influence the outcome for everyone's happiness allows our souls to evolve. A truly embracing book on what it means to "Love".

I really enjoyed this book. Reading about the after life and about our soul is truly comforting. This book will definitely please anyone who wants to learn more about who we really are and what's waiting for us on The Other Side.
