Knuffelwuff Functional Textiles Dogs Summer Cooling Dog Coat, 70 cm, Blue

I bought this cooling coat for my almost 6 month old puggle pup as it has been really hot both inside and outside the past couple of days. I wasn't sure how effective it would be but I didn't want the poor guy to melt. He absolutely loves it. It has been up to 28°c indoors the past couple of days so he has been wearing it indoors to stay cool.Once drenched in cold water the jacket stays nice and cool for a long while, yet water doesn't drip everywhere, which is great for indoor use. He has been wearing it whilst napping on the bed and it hasn't left the bed soggy which is great. It is nice and lightweight, which makes it more comfortable.Will also be using it when we go walkies to keep him cool. Would highly recommend this lil coat for your fur baby.

The cost itself is brilliant, helping my black greyhound endure the summer heat without weighing her down.I'd have given it 5 stars if not for the sizing. Maybe in a chubbier breed it would fit prefect but in my greyhounds case the front is far too big and needs wrapped to the very end of the Velcro

This has been a godsend in this weather. It fits perfectly and doesn’t slip either. It holds water very well so no dripping all over the floor and it definitely helps to keep Archie cool. He loves being off a lead over the fields but without this, I’d have had to keep him on his lead. I also use it to keep him cool around the house. I do check it every 30/40 mins by putting my hand on Archie’s back to ensure it’s keeping him cool and the jacket is still wet. Otherwise it could turn into a warm jacket which, in this heat, would be dangerous. I don’t wring it out much either so it holds the water for longer. If we’re out and it’s getting dry, I just pour water over it whilst he’s wearing it, to top it up. Definitely recommend this jacket to all dog owners.

Great little cooling coat. Nicely made and good quality does exactly what it's meant to do keep my dog chilled on a hot day . Ordered the 50cm for a working cocker spaniel and it fits great.

These are okay if your dog isn't an off roader. I bought 3 of them. My casual walking 13 year old GSD's one is perfect still but the two younger dogs have torn holes in the flimsy outer fabric. They just need a stronger fabric. I use a similar perforated fabric which is similar but much more resistance to tearing if caught on a bush.

Extremely impressed by this jacket. Recommended by a veterinary nurse at work. Make sure you get the right size. I have a very long golden retriever & should have got the 70cm one instead of the 60cm so I don't use the back leg straps. Keeps cool for a good few hours & you can just wet the top & it soaks through. It looks very smart

It does keep the dog cool. Arrived in good time and was reasonably priced. The only negative is that it did not have instructions with it. Obvious would dampen it to use but no idea if can wash it.

Absolutely love this cool coat generally good quality however I definitely had one today that has hitches on .... fast delivery wrapped well just felt let donw
