Great for homemade bread, without the gunk
This is a great quality flour that produces superior and delicious bread loaves. It rises very well and I love that it is organic and non gmo. Trying to cut as much unhealthy crap out of our routine as possible and since I bake bread, this really fit the bill. My current favorite bread to bake is Jalpeno Cheddar bread and it comes out amazing everytime with this flour. Great crumb and crust. Definitely a leader in its class.

So Good for Homemade Bread!
This flour is always in my pantry. If I’m baking sandwich bread for the week, cinnamon rolls for the weekend, or fresh bagels just because, this is the flour I reach for every time. My sandwich bread rises tall and soft but still holds up to a good sandwich. My cinnamon rolls come out fluffy (no dense middles!), and my bagels have that perfect chewy bite. The dough feels strong and easy to work with, and you can definitely tell the higher protein makes a difference. I love knowing it’s organic and good quality, but honestly — what keeps me buying it is the consistent, beautiful results. If you love homemade bread like I do, this flour will make you look like you really know what you’re doing in the kitchen. Highly recommend!

The best you can get for the money!
There is a reason King Arthur is a huge mover and shaker in the marketplace. The employee owned company strives for quality. They are also innovators. KA is currently working on a sourdough machine that makes sourdough bread dough automatically. You place the ingredients in the designated places and set the time you want it to be ready for baking, It not only kneads and prepares the dough, it also creates the starter for you! You do not need to mess with feeding a starter ever again with this thing. It is well worth the little bit extra that you pay over the grocery store brands. It has a much higher protein count, as well. It is unbleached and tastes GREAT! Please be advised that if you need gluten free bread, they also make quality flours for that purpose, as well. This one is not gluten free. It is the only bread flour I use.

Great quality bread flour. The dough was easy to handle, rose well, and baked into a soft, slightly chewy loaf with a nice crust. Consistent results and perfect for homemade bread.

I use it to feed my sourdough starter and bake with it regularly. It is not a gluten-free flour, which is exactly what I wanted for building gluten strength in my dough. This flour is fantastic. It’s a true bread flour with a strong protein content (12.7%) that gives my sourdough the strength and structure it needs to rise tall and airy. Every loaf comes out with that beautiful loft, chewy texture, and golden crust. The taste is excellent—clean, full-bodied, and perfect for artisan loaves, pizza crust, sandwich bread, you name it. This time, I was pleasantly surprised to find each bag sealed inside a plastic outer wrap—a nice touch for freshness and protection during shipping. The flour itself smells clean and fresh—none of that musty scent some shelf flours can pick up over time. Great flour; poor packaging
This is a fantastic bread flour. It has a high protein content, which makes it great for sourdough and other healthy breads. My only complaint is how it’s shipped… I received two 5lb bags in a box, along with my other various items I had ordered. The flour was not wrapped in a protective bag, to prevent it from puncturing or just spilling onto everything in the box.

he Gold Standard for a Strong Starter and Great Spring
I’ve tried several organic flours for my weekly sourdough loaves, but I keep coming back to King Arthur. The protein content is consistently high, which gives my dough the strength it needs for a beautiful open crumb and excellent oven spring. Since it’s unbleached and organic, I feel much better about the quality of bread I’m feeding my family. It handles hydration shifts really well—definitely worth the slightly higher price point for the results you get.
