Au Jus Mix, 6 lb - One 6 Pound Container of Au Jus Gravy Mix, Best for Bulk Preparation, Use to Heighten Flavor of Ribs, French Dip Sandwiches, Roast Beef and More

My teenage son just makes it in a mug for a hot drink. My favorite use of it is making beef soups.. I just made a beef vegetable lentil soup and it wouldn't taste nearly as good without this. I don't know how it can taste so beefy without, apparently, containing any beef. I had bought another brand for years (starting with a K that's very popular on grocery store shelves) and didn't care to use it much because it lacked actual beef taste. We're a family of 8 and we're 1-year into this container, I think we'll probably have 2 years of use from this container. You don't have to use as much to get to the flavor you need.

Great product! This au jus is a great value also. We do 1 heaping tablespoon of this au jus mix per 2 cups (16 oz) water and add black pepper and 1/2 tablespoon of Montreal Steak seasoning. salt to taste. Of course add Prime Rib drippings from the roasting pan that was cooked with onions and two cups of water while roasting. So a total of just under4 cups total product. Fantastic au jus!

I mix it a bit stronger than the recipe on the container and we love it. Can't beat the price compared to a buck-something for one-meal foil pouch. I have vacuum sealed a couple of quart jars so I know it will keep for years.

My favorite Au Jus mix was Crescent’s Au Jus but about the time Covid hit it disappeared off of store shelves and has not returned. I’ve tried several other brands and they did not compare. I have to say this Au Jus is as close as it gets to the Crescent brand. The only negative I have is that this 6 lb. jug will be here long after I’m gone!

I love this mix, it's very versatile. I use it with a roux of butter and flour to make gravy, add it to stews and soups to enhance their flavor. It is rather salty so you'll need to omit other salt from your recipes but do that and it's perfect. This is a very large container of mix, plenty to share with friends and family.

Might've had a few cocktails the night I bought this. When it arrived, I was a little bit perplexed as I didn't remember ordering. It's a little bit salty, but it's tasty and does the job. I've only used about a cup of this stuff so far. I'm thinking of dumping the rest in my pool next summer and having a gravy party. My wife, so far, is not convinced this is a good idea.

I use this for stew roast or sandwiches with n without vegetables and i make gravy with the broth I always add onion soup mix n pepper

This is the best bang for your buck. I will totally buy again when I run out.
