I bought a couple of shelves and an oak mantle shelf from funky chunky furniture. The fixings supplied with the shelves are identical to the halfele concealed fixings sold elsewhere on amazon. Those fixings only have a short thread into the metal barrel and despite using four I had shelf droop on my first shelf. On the other shelf I had the screw part snap in the wall with no way of removal on one fixing. Given the serious droop I had to resort to shelf brackets to support - not the look one is after when buying floating shelves!I still had my oak mantle shelf to install and given its weight was far more than the shelves I could not trust the fixings supplied. I looked at various fixings on amazon and elsewhere and given these were well reviewed i thought I'd try them. Importantly for me the steel shaft is one piece and the full length of the fixing. They do take a bit of tightening for the wall plug to bite but once it does the fixing is not going anywhere. The shelf went on easily and despite the weight there is no droop. These are far superior to the supplied fixings and if I do put up anymore floating shelves I will be using these again.

What can I say? Large mantle shelf has been up over a month and everything in place on top.

These were ok. Though having followed instructions and drill appropriate holes, I had issues getting 3 of them to seat properly and to expand as you screw the outer piece, which is suppose to set them and hold well. The outer piece is plastic which didn’t held I don’t think.I managed to get enough to hold the shelf, though not sure I would buy these exact ones again.

These products (to me at least) did not work, it seems there is a nut at the back of the wall plastic plug that should have little internal grooves, grooves that lock into place with the nut. When the wall shank is spun, it should tighten onto the nut, locking the grooves into place and therefore creating a compression force on the wall plug, the compression force is what pushes the legs and the flange outwards, hence locking into the masonry.If you inspect these, the nut free spins in the back of the wall plug, and along with it - the shank, therefore you cannot tighten them into the wall fully, if you do get a grip to take, it appears that it's only the front legs and the twisting force cuasing the front legs to flare that is holding it in, the back flange would not flare out because the nut is free spinning.You can see the grooves in the back of the wall plugs and how it appears they SHOULD work, but again the nut does not fit tightly into this, and so allowing for the free spinning.Sent them back for a refund! (minus two great big 12mm holes in my wall that now have to be filled, sanded and painted!).P.S the 12mm in the descriptions for the holes you drill in the shelf (wrong - and good job I didnt follow the graphics provided in the amazon pictures - it's smaller as others review have indicated)

Fitted easily very sturdy

These shelf secret fixings are okay, but wouldn’t rely on them by themselves. To activate the raw plug part it’s quiet a stiff action and many of the ones I put into holes in a mass concrete wall didn’t active properly. Luckily I have end support for the shelves so figure that together the two means of support will be strong enough.

sold as 12 mm but the rod that projects into the shelf is actually plastic-covered with a metal core which is only about 5 mm - hence much less sturdy than expected. Three of these on each 135cm alcove shelf but sags when laden with books so now needing to fit extra support at ends (shelves are in an alcove so can do this)

These didn’t work for me. Drilled hole as instructed put one of these in the hole and then tightened. Just ripped a huge hole in the wall and didn’t expand, the legs which are meant to open on the end just broke and didn’t work.

El sistema está bien pensado. En mi caso las paredes son un poco maluchas. Creo que es mejor perforar la pared con broca del 11 para que agarre mejor. Ya que en mi caso tuve que pinzar la arandela con un alicate mientras roscaba el macho. Por cierto, recomiendo usar un vaso largo, ya que con uno corto se rompe el extremo redondeado. U a vez instalado ves que cogen fuerza, y cuantos más mejor, sobre todo si cada uno apunta hacia un sitio y crea un poco de tensión añadid. Para el hexágono puse 6, 2 por cada balda horizontal.su peso es de unos 10 kg, +5 o así de los jarrones, y no dice ni pio... contento.

Parfait lorsque l'on veut mettre des étagères au mur sans apparence d'équerre. Le perçage se fait à la mèche de 12mm, le serrage à la clé de 10 et supporte en fonction du nombre des charges conséquentes

Sicuramente buon prodotto a buon prezzo....consigliato

Macht das, was sie soll. Habe die Schrauben für 2 leichte Regalböden genutzt. Alles paletti!
