Gator Cases Deluxe ABS Molded Case for 335 Style Semi Hollow Electric Guitars, (GC-335)

I ordered this for a brand-new Sire H7, and it fits very well. The neck is evenly supported, and there doesn't seem to be any pressure on the neck joint. The guitar sits nicely and seems to be supported in all of the correct places including both the top and bottom. It does slide back and forth a little bit laterally, and I may or may not add some extra material to take up that space; for me, it's not really necessary because this isn't going to see any serious road use. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on sturdiness only because the plastic I think is a little thin, but for my purposes (storing it in my house with the very occasional trip to church or a visit to family) it will be just fine. It will work for a gigging musician and it will take some knocks and protect the instrument very well, but I have a feeling that over time, it wouldn't take much to put some battle scars on it. In a 'van door vs. guitar case on a 0° New Year's Eve' contest, it would come away with a crack in the plastic, but the guitar would be OK. I would recommend.

Bought this case for a Epi Casino. Fits perfectly. Sturdy case for sure. I'm certain it could accommodate similar sized guitars. The interior is plush.

I installed an aftermarket bigsby style tremolo on my 28inch scale baritone guitar, so I needed something long enough for the neck but with space for the extra hight of the trem. I took a gamble on this because it's meant to fit hollowbody guitars with trems. The gamble paid off! Miraculously my guitar fits perfectly and doesn't slip around in there. I'm sure it'll do even better for the guitars it's intended to fit!

Reason for not giving 5 stars was simply this. Packaging was horrendous! Its was nothing short of a miracle the guitar case remained in the tattered and torn box. Nothing to speak of inside the box to keep the guitar case stable or the container ridged. If a return was required for any reason, a new box would have been required. I would be embarrassed to have put this together for a customer. The guitar case itself was everything I expected it to be at that price point.

Unfortunately this did not fit the guitar I thought it would. I have two cases from Gator for the ES 335 that fit my Gretsch perfectly. I don't know why this one is designed differently, but it is. It's a beautiful case, well constructed and the lining is superior. It will fit a 335, so if you have one, buy this!

Perfect fit for Gretsch Electromatic 12 string semi hollow guitars (G5422G-12 Electromatic). The case is lined with thick foam, and has 2 neck support openings and block under full length of neck making it supported and more secure for air travel. I reccomend putting socks or soft cloth under end of the headstock where head doesn't touch the bottom of case (for added support) [*Of course carry on is always preferred over checking an instrument but technically this is a flight case ]

I purchased this in order to store and transport a 2019 Squire Classic Vibe Starcaster, and despite having obsessively measured the guitar and checked it against the stated specs of this case, I was a little nervous when the package arrived last night. I needn't have been; it fits wonderfully, and is neither too snug nor too loose. The latches are fine, there's some very minor give in the side of bottom swell of the case, but it's overall sturdy and I have no worries about whether it'll be able to protect what's inside. Fender/Squire have so far declined to produce a case designed for this particular reissue, but whether you're an old, new, or prospective Starcaster owner, I can assure you that this case from Gator will fit the bill (and, more importantly, your instrument).

The case is overall well made but the plastic handle could be a bit more comfortable. Unfortunately, it is not as good a fit as I was hoping for. My guitar is a bit small for the case. The DBZ Imperial I have has proved to be a tough guitar to find a case for, and the DBZ Imperial case has proved difficult to locate. I will probably keep this case to avoid a hassle. The fit could be a bit better but this case should be effective in protecting the guitar from most harm. UPDATE: I returned the Gator case in favor of a DBZ Imperial case which fits perfectly. Well made too.
