iPad 9.7 inch 2018 2017/ iPad Air Case - 360 Degree Rotating Stand Smart Cover Case with Auto Sleep Wake for Apple iPad 9.7" (6th Gen, 5th Gen)/iPad Air (Sapphire Blue)

I was a little hesitant to buy this because while the listing does say it works for my model (iPad Air A1474) in at least two places, there is another section in the listing that reads, "Description:1.Designed exclusively for Apple iPad 5th&6th generation / New iPad 9.7 inch 2017&2018 release(Model; A1822 A1823A1893/A1954)." The A1474 isn't mentioned in this portion of the description, and the word "exclusively" is used to indicate it is designed for newer models. I therefore worried that I might be ordering a case that wouldn't fit my older iPad Air A1474.Despite the confusing language in the listing I am happy to report that this case does in fact fit my iPad Air A1474 and I hope this is helpful to others looking for a replacement case for older iPad Airs models. Otherwise, I think the case looks great and I'm a big fan of the swivel feature. I like that this swivel also shows the Apple logo as it makes for (in my opinion) a more interesting design. The stand works great and provides three different viewing angles in both landscape and horizontal modes. Great price too. I purchased mine in August of 2019 for $11.99.

I bought this to replace the case I had previously for roughly 4 years for my iPad Air 2. For the pricing, I'd say this is really good. But, here are my thoughts on the product:Pros+The rotation is smooth and does spin 360 with no hitches in the mechanism itself+The case is pretty thick and heavy; it does feel strong (I do not normally drop the iPad and I don't intend to but the case itself is 2 times thicker than my old one)+The edges feels very secure without impeding on the screen or when you're holding the iPad+It does stand vertically and horizontallyCons-Had that new product smell when you first take it out (let it air out for a bit, the smell goes away)-While it does rotate smoothly, figuring out how to rotate was weird because if you hold the iPad, it will hit your hand/knuckles-While it stands well horizontally, when it stands vertically, it's pretty acute to the surface you set it on. Personally, I like the iPad to be more parallel with my eyesight so I'm not craning my neck over the iPad. If you prefer a flatter angle to the table or desk, this is not a con for you.-I received the product later than estimated date(I did reach to support about the issue though and I was very satisfied with how it was resolved)-(Edit)I've had the case for a couple months now and some of the rubber padding on the side is falling off(I believe the decorative/comfortable covering over the case is peeling off in some way)Overall, I think this case was definitely worth the $11-ish that I paid and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an iPad case. (Despite the extra edit, I still stand by this opinion.)

This case is all that it's said to be ... and then some. I purchased one years ago when I got my first iPad, and literally wore it out. This newer model has been greatly improved. It has 3 notches instead of 2 for better angles and viewing, it has a small elastic to hold a pen or stylus, is made of quality materials, and comes in so many colors that it's hard to choose. I purchased the RED; however, it's not a deep red - it's more of a rose red or pinkish red, which I am totally delighted with. Monitor colors vary, but the red that appears on my monitor matches the same as the cover case.

Very nice looking.Like that you can flip it horizontally and especially vertically which is how I view the most and most I’ve seen only does horizontally.Does seem to work well although I’ve only had it for a few days.Feels flimsy and doesn’t quite hold the pad in tight enough.The pad does stay in the case but one corner does not hold it well. Seems to be bent out of shape.I really do like it just wish it was a little more study and hold a little better.

I’ve has this about 2 weeks and so far I love it. It has a nice weight to it and is nicely made. It’s thicker and sturdier than most cases and the iPad actually stays in place in the grooves on its side and upright. I ordered the purple and the color was exactly as pictured. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I’ve used this on my iPad 6th generation for about 12 weeks now. After only a few weeks, the rubber covering the plastic edges started to come a bit loose. At this point there is only rubber left around one corner. It still holds the iPad, but is not as protected and snug as before. I like that this case allows me to rotate my iPad, and that it is a little sleeker than other cases I’ve used. But the durability just isn’t there. I like the case and its cover design quite a bit, even if it is more bulky than the slim cases I usually get. I like the different angles at which I can hold the iPad. I dislike that sometimes the cover seems to slide around on the front of the tablet, not always engaging the iPad's auto-lock. I can sometimes see underneath the cover that the screen is still on. The only way I can be sure that the screen will shut off is by using the black fabric elastic band, which, of course, will become more and more slack with use. Maybe make the magnet in the cover a tad stronger so that auto-lock engages no matter what?

I have only had the iPad cover for 1 day, so shouldn't really being attesting to its durability at this point. It was easy to insert the iPad into the cover. It is easy to rotate the iPad to use either screen size. The iPad sits well behind the strips provided to hold it upright an stop it from slipping. The elastic helps hold the iPad secure when closed. I love the design I chose for the exterior of the cover (palm trees with beach and water theme).

I’m on my third iPad and I’ve had at least a half dozen of these types of cases with 360 degree rotation. This case is by far the best I’ve ever had. The grooves are deep, really holding the iPad up well, even in vertical position, which has always been an issue on other cases. It looks beautiful and just feels more solid that other cases I’ve had. Very happy.

What I really like about this case, besides the great colours to choose from, is that it has three (NOT two) notches for it to stand up. I use it a lot in bed to watch movies, so it’s nice to have those options to make watching it more comfy.

Too small for my ipad. 3 out of the 4 corners hook over the ipad but the 4th doesnt even cover not even worth 1 star

I really wanted to like this case, as I bought it so I could use vertically. The case is not heavy enough to hold the iPad in the vertical position, and collapses. The concept is good, but the execution of it is not. I returned for a refund and went back to my old style case, but bought a metal stand instead so I could turn both horizontally and vertically.
