So these are a bit different than what most people are used to. They are not as long as the sticks my wife buys in a Beauty Supply Store. They are also not 4.5 inches as the listing claims. They are actually 3 inches long. I did not find any splits or fraying on any of the sticks. There were 103 sticks in the package I received. At first my wife wasn't sure about these because they are short. After using them she likes them and said that she has better control with the short sticks. She uses these when she does her gel manicures and they have performed well. They didn't split or break and did what they were supposed to. It took about 3 weeks for these to arrive. For the price you really can’t complain. Even if a few do break they are still a fraction of the cost of what you would pay in the store.

Great-- I don't have a lot of orange stick experience with which to compare - the sticks are a nice length, in good condition. As described. I used them in my hair and also for my nails/cuticles. Occasionally one of the 100 will have an imperfect cut on the end like a little extra wood or a jagged point. Not like splintering just a rough spot or miscut that's only say 5% off normal. It's simple as pie to use a nail file to touch up the end and i'm ready to go. They work just fine anyway for nails -- I don't like any rough spots when I stick em in my hair cuz it can snag-- again i'd say that happens only say one out of every 30 sticks. For the cost even with shipping - you can't beat what you're getting. I orderd 200 originally and because I give em away in my business ... I am ordering another 400 now.

I purchased several packs of these some time ago when I found them at an incredible price. They are approximately 3 inches long, or about as long as my middle finger, which makes them shorter than other orange sticks I've used. I actually love the length and find it very easy to manage. The only downside to these is that they vary in quality. Most of them are smooth and strong, but there are some that are splitting and splintering. I have to throw those ones away. I wouldn't risk using them and getting splinters from them. I only marked these down one star because even after throwing away some of my product these still cost a small fraction of what I'd pay to purchase orange sticks locally.

I really don't have to much I can say about these other than the value. They are a good quality (no splintering or poorly cut ends), and for the quantity you get a great deal. I use these for wiping polish off my cuticles when painting them (regular and gel polish), and also for pushing my cuticles back after I use a cuticle softener and remover. Once these get wet from the cuticle softener, they lose their rigidity and don't really serve their purpose. For this reason, they need to be cheap since they're disposable after a use. I do like these cuticle pusher sticks, but they are quite smaller than I thought they would be. They're very small and skinny. I however am liking the thinness of the pusher end because its easier for me to control it and really pushes the cuticles back far without hurting my clients.The packaging was not great. They come in a thin plastic bag and when I opened the yellow/orange shipping envelope, all of the sticks were out of the bag. The sharpness of the sticks ripped the plastic and they all came out. But they were all in the shipping envelope, none came out of the package itself.It shipped quickly. I ordered it May 6th and it arrived May 10th.I'm overall happy with this purchase.

It took a long time for these to come, but they work great, they push my cuticular back. I have a metal one, but it just seems to harsh on my cuticular, these wooden ones seem to work better and do the job, the metal one, seemed to almost feel like it scratched my nail bed or I would get cut by pushing to hard then it would be sore. I like these better, I guess everyone will like these, & some really like the metal cuticular pusher.Another thing I use these for are when I'm painting my nails and get some on the edge, I use one of these to clean up the sides right away, works great!
