Excellent product. A little goes a long ways.
Really nice teak oil! Had seen this used in marine environments on boats and swim platforms and decided to try it for a teak shelf unit in our shower. It goes on really easy and we waited 5 minutes like the instructions indicated and wiped down the excess. It looks great and beads the water from the shower. I see this protecting not only the wood but keeping that nice teak color from graying as quickly.I did not notice any strange smells or issues with application which I did in our garage. We let it dry thoroughly before placing it inside.I highly recommend this product. We only used a small amount on a three shelf unit about 12 x 12 x 41 inches. 16oz will last us a very long time!Update 2024:6 years later and I still like the product and I still have the same bottle! Works great and a little goes a long way!The shower shelf has lasted all this time since 2018 and finally got to the point where it will not restore to natural teak color. This shelf was in a shower used several times a day and I took the shelf out every 6-12 months before it started to turn gray and reapplied Teak Oil. Last couple years I would power wash to remove the 'junk' from being wet and apply teak oil. Now I can't get the color back and shelf is too difficult to sand with all the crevices and slits in the shelving so we bought another one. I don't like the natural gray color but do like the wood color of teak so we just deal with it and put on more Teak Oil than some might think necessary. (Used to do this to an old swim platform on a Master Craft boat too!)One things to mention, if near or around water, teak will want to naturally gray no matter what you do. If you don't like that, you might should think about another wood or go with something that looks like teak. You can fight it all you want with this oil, but eventually the natural graying will take over and usually sanding is necessary to get it back.Recommendation: If in a shower, take it out every 6 months/clean/apply more teak oil. If an outside table/patio set, you should probably put this stuff on more frequently than you might think to the parts that face the sun/rain. I'd check it every couple months and apply when you think it does not need it (note, some covers hold moisture from the wood so it will speed up graying). Don't wait until a once-a-year cleaning after being out all winter and/or covered. The wood is fine, but color will turn that grayish color and very hard to get it back to that deep rich color without sanding.

Used on All my bare woods
I used a paper towel to apply. It does not change the color of the wood. I soaks in and dries much better than mineral oil. Don't drink it. The odor is gone when it dries. I did not use it on my recorder because I didn't want to taste or smell it when I played. I even used it on my oak futon.

Easy to use but it smells
I did 2 large teak crate & barrel chairs and 1 small 2 foot by 2 foot teak table with about 1/2 a bottle and I applied almost 2 coats to most of the wood. I wish they made a better dispenser for the liquid, if you tip the bottle over you're going to lose it all. It also SMELLS, not terribly bad, but you can definitely smell something off on the furniture. I hope the smell passes. The teak furniture looks BEAUTIFUL with the oil. I didn't have to clean first. The furniture wasn't really dirty but it was almost white from weathering and this teak oil really restored a beautiful teak color - nice product.

Works wonders
This teak oil performs exceptionally well on teak products. The instructions are clear, it's easy to apply, and the results are fantastic. I've used it on my outdoor teak lanterns, and it worked wonderfully. With just two coats, my lanterns look brand new! I highly recommend this product for its ease of use, performance, and affordability.

Expensive but works well,.
My wife and I love this stuff as it keeps our patio furniture looking brand new and in great condition. It's fairly simple to apply, although we don't exactly follow the directions as we use a brush instead of a rag. But it makes it a bit easier to apply when utilizing a brush and the container lasts longer with that method. Lasting longer is great as this is a bit on the pricey side so you want to make sure and stretch it out. We were able to do our small patio table and four chairs with about two bottles of this. We tried using a different brand and it wasn't the same, definitely not as good. Overall this works well but be warned that it could be an expensive project.

It works! Lovely color!
I am refinishing some of my grandmas MCM teak tables and I had no idea what to use. I researched a lot of products and decided to go with this. I didn't want to stain it, but rather bring out its natural color. I achieved the look I was going for! I did 3 coats, I believe.I attached before and after photos.

Good stuff
I bought this to refinish my acacia wood adirondack furniture on my screened porch, which was in rough shape. I would absolutely recommend using the cleaner and brightener first, as well as the mold and mildew remover if needed. It was a lot of work, but the whole process was pretty easy and the end result is beautiful. I ended up using 3-4+ coats of oil, so you may need more than you think depending on the condition of your piece.
