I use model dinos in a learning station for both my Physical Geology lab kids (college freshmen) and for elementary students from area schools. This is the first dino model I've gotten from Recur (most are from Schleich, Papo, etc), and he's squishy! He's actually hollow inside so he's flexible instead of a solid resin cast. He's also really colorful - the icy blue makes him stand out from the others - and it makes it easy when a kid picks him up to say, "Oh, you know what's different about this model? This represents a dinosaur that was found in Antarctica!" and my kids' eyes get big and suddenly they're really interested. Learning something instead of just playing.Anyway, this model is really pretty, has a good level of detail for the price point, and stands out from the crowd. I'm going to look for more Recur dinos in the future.

Was a hit. I love that it is soft and not hard spikes. He loves it.

I was more than a little disappointed that this toy was in fact a hard plastic. I got this for a 3 year old and thought it was more like a durable foam rubber, something she could sleep with. I would never have paid as much as I did for a stationary toy that could end up hurting her. If it wasn't so close to Christmas and thought I could get something else in time, I would return it!! The reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the attention to detail.Very misleading advertising!

Bought the raptor as a Christmas present for our two year old. It looks so cool, he's going to love it! I only took one star off because the claws are rather sharp and the tail is super pointed- he could do some serious damage if he makes it attack someone...

Really cool spinosaurus. Really great quality, nice pose, cool sail, colors, well detailed (you can see the muscles!). I bought the RECUR mosasaurus a few days ago. that one is really cool too. I took some pictures (with the mosasaurus too).

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I am so incredibly angry that they advertised this as a plush toy, but what I got is hard plastic. Not only did they waste my money, they wasted my time because this is supposed to be a Christmas gift and now I won't have time to get what I really want by Christmas.

Great dinosaur toy. Jaws are flexible, so brilliant for pretend dinosaur attacks. Not made from hard plastic but rubbery and squishy which feels nice (must be filled with foam). It's not too small and overall a good quality product.

I didn't like the fact that the dinosaur was stood up on the picture and mine can't stand. My Grandson asked me why I bought a dinosaur that he can't play with.

The Recur Figurines are amazing. They are soft, light weight and non-toxic, so they are safe for younger children, but have fantastic details that older collectors like myself truly appreciate. Fantastic toys!
