This book is in desperate need of a good editor!
I have several issues with this book. This man needs an editor, and bad! I have such a hard time taking advice from someone who can't even write a proper sentence! He also spends a great deal of time telling you what he is going to talk about, rather then just getting on with his point. It's very annoying. There are a few good tips in this book but you have to sift through a lot of nonsense to get there.

Very informative!
I love all the For Dummies series of books and this one is no exception! I wanted to learn more about swing trading and this book answered all my questions and gave me many informative tips! I would recommend this book to anyone who is just starting out in swing trading and needs some pointers!

Good book with lots of a great information.
It has a wealth of knowledge about swing trading. I originally wanted to get the first edition, but it was more than the second edition.

Omar Bassal is a person that gives all his knowledge to his students.After 35 years of trading I wanted to write a book myself about how to survive in this 'sharky' business .Damn I was to late. It is already done. Revealing and complete. Well done Mr Bassal.

There's key info in here I've read MANY trading booksThis book provides how to that applys to any type of trainingThis book should be bought w Alex elders book and will lay a great foundation for any technical analysis tradingIf you've read this far just buy it it's worth it

Author does a good job of providing overview
This is a great overview of swing trading. As someone who knew about trading in general, the book offered a wealth of knowledge to the rookie swing trader. I feel like I can use this book to navigate the world of swing trading. There are clear examples and the author seems very personable through his writing.

Excellent book and very easy to read - author is very knowledgeable and good at explaining a difficult subject in an easy to understand format

Questionable credibilty of the author + missing demonstrated evidence of benefit
Read the book and also learned a few things as I had been new to the topic. Still I felt more confused and left alone afterwardsWhen doing internet research about the author a few interesting things came up, especially at valforex.com or tradingschools.org.The main point - OF COURSE you can be a self-proclaimed exceptionally good trader, BUT MAYBE it'd be better to prove this somehow by showing clear evidence that the advertised method actually works.And so far I have not found ANY acceptable proof of that (note: success story of customers that are so happy now after they got introduced to the trading method do NOT count).So better safe your money for other educational books about trend trading/ technical analysis.
