I bought this for my teenager who cannot get up with alarms. she sets multiple alarms and it either goes off til someone else wakes up then wakes her up or she turns it off and goes back to sleep. this was kind of a "hail mary" and let me tell u it has been great. it wakes her up immediately, she usually snoozes it but does eventually wake her up. her complaint is that the "off" button is too hard to find but that's a positive point for me. it's not fool proof, she has overslept with it but it has been hands down better than what it was. the display is dimmable so it doesn't keep her up being so bright which was a concern.

We have nothing but deep sleepers in our household and most alarms do not do the trick. The two I bought work awesome and they are well loved. The shaking mode is really great. We are hard of hearing in our household so this is a fantastic feature. The price was fair, they are easy to see, and the colors a fun.

If you have a hard time hearing the alarm when you really, really need to wake up, this alarm clock is wonderful. The "Bed Shaker" doesn't actually shake the bed but it makes a strong vibration that is impossible to ignore. Especially if your pillow is right over it. The time and the alarm are easy to set. The night display is easy to read. I have two of them - one for home and one for travel.

Initially, I ordered this clock because it was inexpensive but said it was for heavy sleepers, including the bed shaker. It also was supposed to be where it didn't need to be plugged in since my teen has limited outlets in her room. Well, that is a complete joke. So, when she received it, she was happy with it but immediately had an issue because she tried to use batteries, and it wouldn't work. I thought perhaps the batteries were duds, so we tried new batteries in it, just purchased and received. After trying like four sets of batteries, I contacted Amazon for a replacement. When the replacement arrived, we dealt with the same issue again. But she decided to try to use it, unplugging her lamp in order to use the darn thing. Well, when they say this is for heavy sleepers, it's not. My teen not only sleeps through the blaring alarm, but the "bed shaker" does nothing to wake her up either. This a joke! Ultimately, I'm returning both clocks and trying a different one. I will also tell you, this clock is made out of the flimsy plastic I've ever seen an electronic be made out of. I definitely suggest you keep looking if you want a product that works and is worth the money you spent on it.

So, let me start off by saying, I can literally sleep like the dead. I once slept through EMS Responders parading in my house to collect my father who was having a heart attack. I woke up the next morning to find my parents gone and had to call them to find out where they were, don't worry my dad was good in case you were wondering. So needless to say, I am a VERY VERY HARD SLEEPER, when I actually do get to sleep. So in result of this problem issue , as an adult , where we actually have to get up every day and do adult things, jobs, school, family, etc....I kept running into the issue of NEVER hearing my alarm clock. Which in turn made me late.... like really late.... I'm talking hours late....for work on more than one occasion. So I was browsing Amazon one day and came across this alarm clock that will literally vibrate your bed and go off super loud to wake my dead ass up. LET ME TELL YOU, this saved my job!!!!!! I'm now starting to wake up a few mins on my own before my alarm clock goes off. The ONLY downside is, I wish it had 2 alarms.... I'm still giving it 5 stars though because it's that awesome. Trust me, if you're a true DEAD sleeper like me, just buy it! You won't regret it!! Added bonus, I'm not ashamed to admit it, I'm 35 and still afraid of the dark sometimes.... so the nightlight that this puts off, is also a serious bonus.

Alarm is not loud at all. I wear hearing aids when awake, not while sleeping, can’t hear the alarm at all without my aids. Bed shaker works good thankfully.

I've been using this clock for years now and it's the only alarm solution that's lasted this long. I tend to sleep through auditory alarms, enough that I used to have to set half a dozen different ones just to make sure I didn't get used to all of them. The vibration really seems to do the job though, and I rarely sleep through this alarm. The only downside is that after a few years it's started to make a barely audible high pitched electronic sound while it's plugged in, probably a faulty capacitor, it goes away temporarily if I unplug it and plug it back in a while later. But that's a small price to pay for never being late for work again!
