I have always been blessed with excellent skin. Sadly, as I hit my mid-fifties my skin changed considerably and I found that my old trusted products no longer work for me. I tried several foundations from light to heavy and I felt they all just settled into my lines and made me look older. I also have developed rosacea and my skin texture around my nose has become coarser and often splotchy. Also, I now get hot flashes and my old makeup literally melts away. Tula Skin Care Filter Blurring Primer is intended to be worn under foundation however I have found that it does a fabulous job all by itself. I have light skin color and find “Luna” to be the best match to my skin. The product starts out white but quickly (like magic) adjusts to match my skin tone. It is a light weight lotion but does a good job blurring most of my skin discolorations and texture issues. It leaves my face with a “dewey” feeling that I personally like, however one could add a little translucent powder to further set it. It provides a light cover that does not settle into my lines or wrinkles. I use a concealer to touch up around my nose and under my eyes but I no longer use a foundation. I have used this product for 4 years now and it continues to impress me with its ability to improve the look of my face. Update: Still using and still loving this product!

Lightweight and smooth, it gives skin a natural, blurred finish with a subtle glow. Layers well under makeup or on its own, and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. Great for a quick, fresh look!

I received a sample of this and LOVED it so I purchased a full size. My favorite daily skin care. I wear it under my tinted moisturizer.

I do like the product but the dispenser is a terrible design. It has a pump but it doesn’t work and I end up having to pour it into my hand. Also it really expensive. Probably won’t buy again due to the price and hassle with the pump even though I like the product.

I’m an older (old) woman with a face structure and skin that has never been able handle a lot of makeup. Foundations, in particular have been problematic. I use the Tula filter primer as my foundation with great results. It is ultra light in texture, yet covers imperfections, evens out skin tone, and moisturizes my dry skin without becoming greasy. Makes applying and wearing makeup much easier.

I love how it makes my skin feel, covers my problem areas, and brightens my face.

Pros and Cons The product itself gets a full 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It is very lightweight and goes on smoothly. I love the skin toning/blending affect. It truly does what it claims to do. It smooths out your skin tone and fills in large pores without looking like you put on a pound of concealer or foundation. I like to wear it for my no-makeup days. I’m 41 and am starting to encounter adult acne. If I’ve got tons of break outs I use something else with full coverage. Since this product is so thin and runny, I feel, it looks best on clearer skin days. Those days I put this on (really rubbing it in) and dust the lightest amount of setting powder, maybe some mascara, and I’m good to go. It is a whiteish color out of the bottle with the slightest bit of pigment and quite runny. 2-3 pumps per application will do you. It is buildable coverage so you can add more if you prefer. Ive only done one to two layers at a time. Also the pigmentation is so minor that it is meant for ALL skin tones and colors. I also really LOVE that the more you rub it into your skin the more the primer will activate and continue to reactivate the skin blurring ingredients. I like to put on one layer making sure I massage it in good. Then I wait a few minutes and if needed I’ll add a second layer. I really massage it into my skin well so the active ingredients will take affect. You should notice a difference if you don’t. So my biggest complaints are with the price and with the packaging. That should get a negative rating so I have to say the lowest at one star⭐️ For the price you get very little. And like everyone says a brand new bottle is definitely half empty. So you immediately feel ripped off just by opening the packaging. The consistency of the product is so thin that it pumps out barely thicker than water. And if the pump malfunctions in anyway you can’t get the product out at all. They need to double the size of the bottle for this price no exceptions!!! I’d definitely check Amazon first before buying from Ulta. Some things are the same price but most things are significantly cheaper on Amazon. Not to mention Ulta does not carry all the Tulu products and the absolute best is the Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum!!!!! The second best Tulu product is the pink bottle of Acne Clearing+Tone Correcting Gel!!!!! ULTIMATELY would I buy this product again? Ive only bought it once and now I’m about to run out so......YES, despite being completely disappointed in the price per ounce, I enjoyed it enough to at least buy it one more time to really see if I want to continue with this product.

I don’t want to spend $70 on this, and when I find something similar for lesser money and better value I will swap this out. Until then, I will wear it everyday! It’s so light and evens my skin tone. Most days it’s all I wear as my makeup base.

I love this stuff-I saw an influencer wearing it and it is a primer and fills in wrinkles and gives a nice glow -I get sunrise.

It’s ok. I don’t know a lot about primers so I don’t use it every day. Feels fine on my skin.

Thin and glittery. It made my skin breakout.
