Want to be dairy free? Buy this instead of creamers and milks and half and half! You won't be sorry!
Best coconutt milk I have found. I have been making coconut milk from coconuts and dried coconuts for over 15 years since my daughter is lactose intolerant. There is no coconut milk product on the market that compares to freshly made coconut milk. NOTHING. Until I found this Aroy-D milk. I am trying to get myself off dairy products so I bought this milk after reading about it on a LCHF website. Please look at my pictures. When I opened the container I can tell you it was amazing! This 'milk' smells like coconuts, it tastes like coconuts, and it tastes fresh and wonderful. I can eat it by the spoon straight from the carton!! It is very thick, lots of coconut fat. It does not pour like American crapped out ruined coconut milk that is now sold in stores in the dairy section that has no coconut fat and no taste at all. If you want pourable milk then add some water to it. I use it as creamer for my tea. I am trying to get off coffee and creamer and this stuff really hits the spot. In my photos I opened a can of your typical store bought canned coconut milk found at almost every American grocery store. Next to it you see the Aroy-D milk carton. (This is the small 8 oz container) You can see the difference right away. What you cannot see is the SMELL. The canned coconut milk was just plain nasty smelling. The can said it was good until 2018 - (its 2016 right now) so its has not gone bad. But it just stinks. Plus look at the difference in the look of the cream! The Aroy smelled like fresh coconut. I took a spoonful of each and I can eat the stuff on the Aroy spoon, but the canned stuff did not even taste like coconuts. It tasted like the stinky smell! I was surprised because I have used the canned in curry dishes and felt it was fine but I will never buy canned again. Only this Aroy-D brand. I drink the milky stuff in the container and I put the cream in a separate container. In the morning and before bed I have a cup of tea and I take a big heaping tablespoon of the coconut 'fat' or cream and put it in my tea in place of a creamer. It is so FREAKING GOOD!! I do not miss creamer at all and I was only buying organic heavy whipping cream prior to buying this coconut milk! No more. I will only buy this from now on. Here's to great, dairy free, grain free, LCHF living!!

Rich, Smooth Coconut Milk – Pantry Staple
I really like this Aroy-D coconut milk in the small 8.5 oz cartons. The texture is smooth and creamy without weird lumps, and the flavor is rich but not too sweet. I use it for curries, soups, smoothies, and even coffee – the small size is perfect for recipes so there’s no waste. The pack of 6 is convenient to store, and the cartons are easy to open and pour. Overall, a great quality coconut milk I’m happy to keep in my pantry.

No longer 100% coconut milk plus a new cancer warning label!
Well, well, well. Unbeknownst to me, I’ve been drinking something I never would have knowingly bought. This used to be 100% coconut milk. That’s why I trusted it. I use coconut milk daily in my coffee, matcha, and cooking. It was my go-to dairy replacement. Quietly, the formula changed and polysorbate was added, with no clear callout to consumers. What really sealed the disappointment? There is now a warning label on the back stating the product may expose you to chemicals known to cause cancer. That is not a footnote. That is a material change. I would not have continued purchasing this had I known the ingredients had shifted this far from what it originally was. Trust matters, especially when a product is used multiple times a day. Photos attached so others can review the updated ingredient list and warning label for themselves before buying.

Coconut and water, that's all. Lifesaver.
I'm so glad I came across this while looking for multipacks of the So Delicious culinary coconut cream. This stuff is thinner than that, but its only ingredients are coconut and water, no gum added, which means you have to shake it and shake it and shake it, but it's also almost certainly easier to digest. 1000 ml is just over a quart, so you need to do a few things once you've opened the carton. It makes sense to me to get it all very well homogenized and then pour into two pint jars plus some change. I have an old gas stove which is always warm because of the pilot, and I leave the carton on there for quite a while before shake-shake-shaking and opening it. If I still lived in a cold climate, I'd probably put the carton in a warm water bath, and then dump all the contents into a saucepan or quart-sized measuring cup and stir together really well before decanting into jars. It says only good for two days once opened, and I freeze one of the jars (don't fill all the way, and don't screw down tight, put in freezer upright :) ) . That said, I've had it in the fridge for several days with no spoilage, and if I did think it was going to spoil I'd add some probiotic powder and let it become a yogurt-like thing. For reasons I haven't quite figure out yet, I've had it come out of the freezer and thaw right back to a good smooth texture, and I've had it thaw to a grainy texture that needed blending. The carton is a little flimsy (another reason it's worth decanting right away) and the six cartons arrived mummified in saran wrap :) Coconut is my mainstay, and this is delicious and convenient. And affordable. Subscribe and save, please! Edited to add: I was curious about the perishability disclaimer, so I tried _not_ freezing my second pint jar and just putting it in the coldest part of the fridge. And it hasn't spoiled whatsoever. In the meantime, though, I also purchased the coconut cream AROY-D 100% PURE Coconut Cream, 33.8 Oz package (3-pack) It's only available in 3-pack, but it's about the same price and thus better value for money because less water/more coconut. And oh it is so good. This product (the milk) is just a little thicker than the coconut milk in cartons at the store; the coconut cream is more comparable to the canned coconut milk in terms of thickness. If you want the convenience of pourable milk, or milk that can be quickly made pourable, this is what you need. If you want the creamier stuff that thickens up in the fridge and will need a bit more work to make pourable, and/or if it's your staple food (as for me), the cream may be better for you.

Pure stuff
It’s the real thing. Tastes much better than canned for some reason. The only problem is that sometimes it arrives in a congealed state, but it still tastes ok.

A great kitchen staple
I recently decided to stop buying coconut milk from the store because of all the added stuff in it like calcium carbonate and the gums, thickening agents and preservatives. I decided to try this brand because i heard a lot of good things about it and I'm not disappointed, this brand is absolutely fantastic. The rich flavor, the thickness and the fact thats 100% coconut makes this brand my new #1There are a few things to be aware of before you buy this however, if you are used to buying the regular coconut milk that's by the nut milks at the store, this milk is quite different. Most coconut milks at grocery stores are pretty watered down so it makes a nice substitute to regular cows milk. This brand is NOT watered down its straight coconut milk so it's more think and creamy just like the canned coconut milk (and has a lot more calories per serving) but it's an easy fix, you can just dilute the milk yourself if you wanted to use it for cereal or something. Also since this brand does not have preservatives in it the open container will not last as long. I keep mine in the fridge for 4/5 days and it still smells fine but I think it says on the package it only lasts for 3 days so if you don't go through your milk that fast then that is something to think about. They do have really small containers so that's a good option if you don't go through yours fast. This is the best coconut milk I've had, it's great for baking, it's good for a coffee creamer, it's good in soups and even really good for hot cocoa. This is 100× better than the coconut milk I was buying at the store and its a lot healthier too with out all the additives.

Best coconut milk available
Aroy-D is by no means the cheapest coconut milk, but in my experience it is far better than products from other companies and well worth the cost. The chief benefit is that it is only coconut milk. This is rare. It is smooth, thick, flavorful and consistent. Before it gets to me the contents may have separated. But, unlike some other coconut milks, if I shake the carton a bit before opening it it readily unifies again - and stays unified. A first rate Thai product and I hope they keep shipping it to the USA. Feb 1 2019 Update I maintain my 5 star review but I am adding a caveat. What is in the cartons is excellent, but it can be difficult to get out. The first sets I bought poured out easily after I shook them. The current batch is much thicker and does not pour well, even if I squeeze the carton. I actually have to cut the cartons apart with my Ikea scissors and scrape the coconut mass into a bowl. For me it is worth the effort because it is pure coconut. It obviously has had nothing added in and has not been processed through a dozen automated machines. So I know I am not being slowly poisoned. But some people will not want to deal with this occasional rather severe pouring problem. I tolerate it well enough and will happily keep using it every day with cereal, fruit, baked items - and even my coffee. It's delicious.

Better than canned coconut milk
Great for cooking. Usually preserve unused by using a ziplock and placing in the fridge. Hard to do that with canned versions.
