Case Logic LAPS-111 11-11.6" Laptop, 11" MacBook, 11" Ultrabook, 11.6" Chromebook, 12.2" Tablet

It is important to know that this is a very basic Laptop Sleeve. There are no inner or out pockets. It's a sleeve for a laptop without any extra stuff. Barebones. It's very good. It serves its purpose well.The padding is a smidge over 1/4 of an inch. Plenty of padding unless you like to throw your bag on the ground in a rush. This is not for you. You will probably need a metal case. =DOn a serious note, this case logic laptop sleeve is really high quality for a product that is only $13-14. The value is pretty incredible. I've read some people complain about the new smell. It may depend on how recently your laptop sleeve was made. The one I just received today does have the new smell (as it should!), but only if I put my nose up to it, like 1-inch away then I can smell the "new smell." I have it sitting on my desk right now about a foot away and I can't smell it at all. The smell doesn't rub on to your hands/skin either. Okay, the question that seems to be lingering on most people's minds is the size and fit. I have an Asus Ultrabook SC500A with a screen-size of 15.6-inches. Mind you, screen-size DOES NOT EQUAL laptop's overall size. I think this is the problem with most of the buyers making these complaints. Measure your laptop first and then check with the manufacturers listing. In most cases, always go a full inch larger with cases. With my Asus Ultrabook 15.6" screen laptop, it barely fits. It's a snug-fit but by no means do I have to force it in there. The zipper isn't grazing my laptop or anything. That was my major concern!Other things I should mention is the color. It's black. It isn't a funky, faded black color that comes off brown. I think that is pretty important to know. There are some cheap dyes being used out there. It's pure black and it looks good. Even the zipper handle has this covering on it so that it doesn't hurt your hand when you pull it. I thought that was a nice touch and it adds even more quality to the overall product. Overall, I'm extremely pleased. For this price, it's highway robbery. I'd like to thank Case Logic for providing products that have fair pricing, and many times great value. I know there are a lot of poor, hungry college students out there and most of them have laptops that need a good case that isn't going to crush your wallet. (I meant no offense by that comment, I am a college student!) I hope that my review helped you guys. I try to write very informative and descriptive reviews. As should everyone. It makes life easier. Beautiful dark color. Roomy for 15”. Smug for 16”. Great case. I’m tired of pasty pastels and washed out light colors. What happened to REAL colors? This is it. A dark real color case.

I was thrilled when I found a case this affordable to fit my new laptop. I've had this for about a month now and I've been incredibly pleased with it. I read lots of reviews of other sleeves that complain about the zipper not being protected which caused the laptop to get scratched. This case does not have that issue -- there is a nice layer of cushion between the zipper and the laptop so nothing gets scratched. The case itself has a decent layer of foam on the front and back, as well as around the edges, which protect the laptop very well. It's not going to prevent damage if you drop it on the ground, but if you're constantly carrying your laptop around in a bag it's going to prevent scratches. The case fits a 13" MacBook very nicely, and it also fits very well inside of a backpack or messenger bag. My main concern would be that with the case on my laptop, it would be too big for the pocket of my messenger bag, but the case only adds a few centimeters of extra space. One thing to note is that this case has foam padding and is not a neoprene case. I did not read in the description anywhere that it was foam and was a little disappointed when it arrived, expecting it to be similar to the inCase neoprene sleeves. However, I have been extremely happy with the product and I doubt that I'll end up buying one of the neoprene sleeves now that I've used it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laptop sleeve for a 12-13" laptop.

This is a well-made, reasonably priced good quality sleeve. The 1/4" thick padding is made with a strong, durable fabric and it has a good zipper. It is advertised for use with a 13.3" laptop, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Retina display. Prior to its purchase I noted the overall dimensions and thought it would be no problem fitting my 13.3" tablet because laptops and the MacBooks are thicker dimensions. My tablet does fit, however just barely. Without removing the inner styrofoam the tablet doesn't fit at all. After removing it, the tablet has to be forced into it as it is too tight. I stretched the sleeve some as to accomodate inserting the tablet but there is no room inside it to store small earphones or the charger and there is no outside pocket either. This would be fine for a smaller tablet but disappointing that it's such a tight fit.

This Laptop Sleeve is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 11 3168 (3000 series) in every way !! It is exactly what I wanted: Inexpensive; Great looking; very protective; and perfect fit - not to loose not too tight !! I considered this model Case Logic LAPS-111 11-11.6" - and the other similar model - the Case Logic ELS-111 11". When you look at the product info page at Amazon for the Case Logic ELS-111; it says this unit is sligtly larger than the LAPS (even tho the name suggests it is a bit smaller). It also says in the comparison matrix on that page that the "Enclosure Material" for the LAPS-111 is PLASTIC - while the enclosure material for the ELS-111 version was canvas !! THIS IS INCORRECT. The LAPS model has the same soft foamy / canvas type material inside and out !! It almost swayed me to get the ELS version - but the reviews for LAPS model indicated a better fit for my laptop - so I went with it. I'm glad I did !! In summary - my Dell Inspirion 3168 outer dimensions are W: 11.5" H: 8" Depth: 7/8". And this case fits perfectly. Mine did come with a foam insert which you could insert with the Laptop to snug up the fit (as suggested by some reviewers) but I don't see the need !!!

I wanted to buy a sleeve for my laptop the Case Logic fits perfect on the left and right sides with a small distance at the top. There are lips on this edge which protect the zip from scratching the top of the laptop. I would like to re assure anyone who is contemplating buying this model they need have no worries whatsoever.

Bella, sobria e ben fatta, offre una gloriosa protezione. Io la uso al lavoro quando devo andare ad uno degli innumerevoli, tediosi ed inutili meeting dove: non si risolve nulla, nessuno si prende una beata m...di responsabilità, ognuno fa sfoggia del proprio archivio retorico etc... Tuttavia tenendo alla cura del mio notebook, mi piace tenerlo protetto con questa custodia che calza a pennello per schermi 15". Consigliata? Sì certamente se ne dovete fare un uso tipo il mio o comunque come protezione per gli spostamenti. Attenzione: non è provvista di maniglie nè tracolla...nulla, quindi meditate profondamente sul suo utilizzo/uso...consiglio allo scopo una o due sedute di yoga o meglio dal vostro analista.

Prima stevige hoes met goede rits. Ik gebruik hem in mijn laptoptas maar ook gewoon in een normale tas of koffer beschermt de hoes goed!

Having recently purchased a new 13.3" MacBook Pro with Retina Display notebook, I wanted to find a suitable protective sleeve. The Case Logic MacBook case fitted the bill perfectly. The sleeve is not a dead tight fit but this still provides adequate protection for this expensive piece of Apple hardware. For added protection I fitted a Speck SeeThru Case which does not add any significant increase in thickness to the MacBook Pro so still fitted inside the outer protective case. Highly recommended.
