Had a similar item many years ago with a solid plastic base. Unfortunately the base of this item lets it down for younger children. Probably ok for older toddlers but if the material in the board had not been foam it would have worked for 12 mths onwards. I still have my plastic board and had hoped the pegs would have fitted but unfortunately not. My children had hours of play with the toy many years ago but this version does not meet my expectations. Should be fine for 3 yrs onwards at a stretch tho.

They arrived earlier than expected. There are five chunky, well made, plastic pegs of each of the six vibrant colours. The base however is made of foam, so it is rather bendy and I don't know how long it will stand up to the rigours of play.

Good but board is really flimsy so can be hard to pull pegs back out

Advertised as having all the round pegs and foam mat... no shaped pegs, such as hearts and stars... as advertised and told in the instruction manual. Also the foam pad is hard to push the pegs into... over time it will get easier but not at first, I'd recommend you leave the pegs in every hole to give it chance to expand. Still very disappointed with the shaped pegs as my daughter is learning her shapes and they would have been an excellent learning attribute if included as stated. Still, over all, a very good toy!! 👍

Product just arrivedPegs are good but the base is foam and looks worn and tatty before my child has even gone near it. Not sturdy enough for a young child to daily slot pegs into.If you want stacking pegs fine, but as a peg board I wouldn't buy it.
