Will save you AND YOUR CAT!Not all black lights work for cat urine!!!! Not sure why but must have certain number nanometers. Can not be too high, Cat urine must possess some sort of magical qualities I guess. This one was the perfect strength.Adopted an adorable orange tabby from NYC ACC who had been through so much. Was literally only a couple of hours away from being murdered like THOUSANDS of others. (PLEASE ADOPT! They even transport FREE!) He began spraying. First it was my clothes, then the kitchen. It began happening more often and quickly got to the point of not being able to tolerate the smell. I wasn’t giving up on him as did his first 2 previous owners who declawed him and fed him junk food only every 3 days. Tried both original and multi-cat Feliway diffusers. Think may have helped a touch to help him acclimate but didn’t stop the urine marking. We also have another male tomcat and 2 female cats as well as a 65lb Golden. Can understand why he might be a little scared though he’s coming around with a lot of patience,First, had to find the urine and clean it (I use Odo-Ban, white vinegar, or Nature’s Miracle Urine Destroyer for Cats) then had to find out cause and solution. It’s sticky residue is a nightmare to clean off Porcelain tile and wooden cabinets so vinegar or a specially formulated enzyme cleaner will work.Turned off lights in kitchen at night and wow, did this light work! Of course other stuff glowed as well, such as grease on the hood over the stove that I thought I had cleaned very well and was unnoticeable. Could easily see where he sprayed so I could started cleaning and odor neutralizing to prevent him from remarking.Tomorrow he goes to the vet. They have mentioned kitty Prozac but also CBD oil may be an option. We are also going to see if we can rule out any physical issues.These black lights are also perfect for travel as they can detect bed bugs, urine/ semen stains (Yep, they’re there, folks) on hotel sheets, couches, chairs, bathroom-and it’s the perfect size.

As already mentioned, I used this little flashlight to cure UV adhesive between a metal wall bracket and my glass pedestal sink. I knew the adhesive called for a 365nm UV wavelength, so this fit the bill. It did the job very well, although in hindsight I wish I purchased a larger flashlight for my particular purpose so that I had brighter and wider light coverage, which would help speed up the adhesive cure time a hair. If using this for searching for spots that your naughty cat or dog left in your carpet, it will do just fine!

Works great! My cats should be ashamed of themselves. Works best in the dark but came be used in a lighted room. Great for checking the bathrooms! Made urine spots easy to fine!

Good flashlight. You can use a rechargeable lithium 18650 battery (very convenient)

Not sure what is wrong with this thing, the push power button on top sometimes clicks on/off but the light does not come one every time. When the light does come one, it will start out dim and needs a quick shake to go full bright. The batteries are new and have been tested. The button also seems to get stuck in one position or another although it is hard to tell if it is either the on or off since the light may or may not come one and requires some finessing to get it to reset.When the light actually comes on it works very well and it perfect for the use I purchased it for, but due to the flakiness of the unit I am only willing to give the 1/5 stars.

Working well to "spot" urine areas that I was not aware of. The light does pick up a lot of other things so took a little bit of time to learn how to use it. The urine does need to be dried up before it shows properly.

I like traveling and camping,going beach,especially in summer,sunlight is hot and shiny,I need to wear sunglasses,uv flashlight can help me to check if my glass can against uv light,I trust it and take it every time,some times I will find scorpion in outdoor,uv flashlight will make scorpion reflect fluorescence light,feel safe and portable,really durable,I have it 3 months,No any damage and inactive,waterproof,use in rain day ,submerge in the water for short time.
