DGQ Patio Umbrella Cone Umbrella Wedge Plug for Patio Table Hole Opening 2-2.5 Inch (Brown)

This little device saved me hundreds of dollars. The umbrella support wrought iron feature that is built into my patio table (the 4-way iron support that connects the table’s legs and meets in the middle to form a hole for the umbrella pole) — THAT thing broke. As a result, the umbrella I had at the time also broke with the first strong wind. I looked into new tables and also looked into offset cantilever umbrellas that function independently of patio tables, but which are much more expensive than normal patio umbrellas. In fact I had just completed a purchase on Amazon for a cantilever umbrella when I saw this device pop up as a feed. Curiosity made me look at it— within seconds I cancelled the cantilever order and bought this device as well as a “normal” umbrella.This little thing is a tight fit — at first I thought it was not compatible, but it just needs to be angled and wiggled in right so that you get past the bottom 2 rings. Several weeks later in Oklahoma weather, and both this plug and my new umbrella are as happy as can be.

This thing is pretty great.It takes about 5 seconds to install and holds my umbrella firmly in my patio table. 5 stars for the product.My only disappointment? It took a while to ship (from vendor leatek).In all fairness, the listing does include the disclaimer "In order for us to bring you the broadest possible selection, some Prime items cannot be delivered in less than 3 business days. Most common reasons include item restricted to ground shipping or requiring extra time to prepare for shipment."The "extra time to prepare for shipment" definitely applied in my case: it took 6 full days for it to even be put in an envelope. Once it was in the mail system, though, it moved fairly quickly and arrived in a good shape in a few days more.Summary: If you aren't in a hurry for the product, you will probably be happy with it; if you need it right away, you might want to look at a listing that includes speedier processing.

We inherited a great table from family but they had lost the ring that goes I'm the umbrella hole. Thought I'd give this one a go as the price was good and I went with the brown because I don't care if it matches my umbrella pole and it was the cheapest one. It's absolutely perfect, keeps my umbrella from spinning in the wind so we cannow add our fairy lights. It's nicely constructed and should last many years.

Bought this umbrella wedge ring to replace a silicone/plastic umbrella ring that came with the table. The original ring had failed after 10 years. It has been difficult to find a ring replacement to fit the tables umbrella hole opening, it was not a standard size. We decided to try this umbrella ring to accommodate a new umbrella with smaller pole diameter to prevent pole shifting in the wind, possibly breaking the glass table. While not thrilled that it doesn't have the clear, trim, flush appearance of the former silicone ring in the glass patio table, the wedge/ring does the job perfectly and I can live with the appearance. My reason for 4 stars is because the color choices were brown or black and the wedge sits up about 1inch and is not flush to the table, like the original ring. The ring looks durable.

Just got a new umbrella after my old one blew out of the table not once, but twice, damaging two spokes. I was using a silicone jar opener from my kitchen, wedging it into the table opening to stop the umbrella from flying away. This little device fits perfectly and secures the umbrella -- something that single screw in the base just couldn't do. I really appreciate Fast Eddie's comment about applying a little WD40 on a paper towel, before installing onto the pole. I'm really glad that my umbrella isn't wobbling, since I use it daily here in south Texas. Thanks!

I bought my umbrella and the stand separately and it wobbled and was never straight. I came across this wedge and so glad I did! Now it’s perfectly stable and straight. Works as advertised. No sway or twirling. As this accessory keeps your umbrella from swaying, be sure to take down the umbrella on windy days per manufacture directions as their is no give that could cause pole/umbrella damage.

I ordered a NICE patio umbrella Spring 2019 and had it maybe halfway through summer 2019. It was destroyed in a storm since I chose to go with a different umbrella guard that did me no favors!! I was livid. So this year I ordered the same umbrella because I absolutely loved it and I snagged this umbrella guard hoping it would do the trick. Well, my umbrella made it through spring, summer and a few storms completely intact and upright thanks to this piece!! Its brown so it blends in perfectly with my umbrella base and table. There were certainly a couple of crude but hilarious comments tossed around when we opened the package, lol. I'm happy with this purchase!!

Does keep our umbrella straight. We have a very uneven hole in our patio table and still keeps our umbrella straight. We rarely close our umbrella rain or wind, and still our umbrella has remained straight! Good product.

Product itself is good. Issue is that we bought it at about 5x what others were charging but could not supply until September. Supply and demand ? Yes but also price gouging

Seems to be working well enough, does what it’s designed for.
