Works Just Like the Big Brand But Safe For Vegetables Too!!
We live on 4 Lakefront acres in North Central Florida. We are somewhat of what you would call "Homesteaders". We have in excess of 50 above-ground beds, a 32 plant Blueberry Grove, 16 various Fruit, Apple and Citrus Trees, 22 Chickens, 2 Goats and 3 d Dogs. And a TON of Fireants as unwelcomed guests. We have been limited in what we could apply around our vegetable beds. Most baits that get taken back to the mound to kill the queen are not safe to use with vegetables. We have been able to get the places other than our beds and fruit trees. But unable to eliminate the Ants around our raised beds. After reading extensively, we discovered this product that did exactly what the leading brand does with the mound and the queen AND IS SAFE WITH VEGETABLES! We immediately ordered our first bag. We are now on our third bag and have virtually eliminated all Fireants on all 4 acres. We have the third bag on hand for maintenance. This stuff is GREAT!! 5 Stars

UPdate: it works, it just took about a month and a half to do so. Would recommed
Ok, it's been a few weeks now. I have reapplied three times and ants still not dead. I did find two more mounds, so I think they are moving under ground but it's not killing the queen ( i assume). What is happening is the dead ants are all over the top, like the hive is moving the dead ones out. Right now, I am super uber frustrated that this is NOT working on my fire ants. I still have hope, I even shoved some down the hole. I'll keep trying but I am stating to wain that this is the product I needed. Yes, I followed directions. Im in high desert area of Utah. UPDATE: JUly2025: Ok so after a good solid month, month and a half it worked. Now I put bowls over the tops of the holes, really just to keep my pets out of the treatment area, but after some time, there were dead ants all around the tops of the mounds. Not sure exactly why? was it the treatment or the lack of light or were the ants carrying the dead bodies out of the nest up to the top? Anyhow, yes, after a long time, this worked! I am very happy with this, I wish it were safer around pets, but DE wasn't working and this, finally did. Took a bit longer than I had preferred but it worked! I would recommend but be patient, unlike me. Four stars because I wish I didn't feel so guilty about the pets while using it

Safe ant stopper
Great product for getting ants under control. Safe for pets and birds too. No smell at all. No chemicles that cause your pets to get cancer a few years down the road. This stuff works! Store it in a cool dry place when not in use. Just sprinkle a little bit on a mound and you should be good to go. Just remember....ants hate ticks....so, if you kill every ant in the yard...you may see ticks sometime thereafter. I recommend leaving some ants further away from your dwelling to ensure some tick protection too. Otherwise, this is an easy to use, effective prevention for ants.

Worthless
I needed this to work. So disappointed. I have purchased multiple times. The first bag worked great. The second one did not but I thought it was something I might be doing wrong. I was wrong. The third bag doesn’t work either. Something changed. It’s a dismal failure. Everything other low ratings said is true. Ants aren’t interested. It has a different smell that first bag. Sits in beds for weeks untouched by ants. Repeat treatments do not work. Something changed. This current product is worthless and a waist of money. Zero rating if I could.

Product is Good, Container is Dangers
This product does a good job on killing fire ants. Last year the product came in a bag that had a screw on cap. It worked great. Now it come with a sandwich bag zip seal. IT WILL NOT RESEAL!! Product can pour out, because bag can not be secured. Ounce of saving for the company pound of problem for the consumer!

Keep Dogs Away
Great less-toxic plan for the Fire Ant. But, don’t be misled into thinking it’s NON-toxic to dogs. The doggos can smell the oil in this, its grits coated with a mixture of the Spinosad of course, but also a vegetable oil, and whatever else. (That’s why when it gets old, it smells like rancid cooking oil.) The dogs will be interested and find it, thinking you dropped some tidbits…they WILL eat it! I’ve been using it for almost 20 years. In our experience,(more than once, unfortunately) this results in profuse diarrhea, and what must surely be accompanied by bowel pain for pet. If you have dogs that are allowed inside..believe me, you don’t want this. Especially if you have any rugs. They will find the one rug 😩. It will go on for usually 24 hours. Sad. Find some way to keep the dogs from getting it until the ants take it into the mound. Speaking of rancid oil, when it gets too old and the ants aren’t so interested, mix up the amount you are applying in a paper plate or bowl with a few drops of fresh cooking oil, NOT Canola. Peanut oil #1, corn, olive maybe… It lets you use the rest of the expensive bag and not have to buy new. Sometimes it’s rancid before it’s even sold…this trick works.
