They are 5cm diameter, larger than most Baoding balls which are 4cm. I have extra small hands (women glove size 6). They are a little challenging to play at first, but perfect for soothing hand exercises. Buying 2nd pairs.

These Baoting Balls are really nice, they are usually recommended for building hand strength, and Dexterity, however I find them very useful for Focus. My mind races most of the time, but while holding them the thoughts subsides and really seem to think more clearly. These are 2" in diameter and give of a soothing 'SWISHING ' tone and weigh appropriately 1 lb each, while rotating in your palm. People with smaller hands should be aware, these are pretty big, I would suggest getting the 1 1/2" option. I'm very impressed with the calming nature these have on concentration . I highly encourage those in rehabilitation for hand or finger injuries, should try these out!!! I love them!!!

These are far too big to hold both in one hand for exercises like I was told to do (I have little hands, I'm a petite person). I can barely hold both in one hand, certainly can't move them around in one hand. However, they're beautiful decorative pieces, if only they came with little stands so they didn't roll away. That would make it more convenient to use them as exercise tools as well on a regular basis. Just pick them up to use instead of having to fish them out of the bag all the time. They're also very cool to the touch and feel great to roll on your forehead in the summer heat or when you have a headache. Even though I can't use them for their intended purpose of hand exercises, I plan to keep them for headaches and fidgets, and because they're just darn pretty to have sitting on a desk or shelf. Now to go hunting for stands so they don't roll away.

The 2 inch size balls are probably not optimal for me but I can now use them after using smaller balls that helped me with an annoying forearm pain from "tennis elbow" (though I don't play tennis). I think the variety (smaller ball and now these 2 inch balls) will be good for my version of physical therapy for what was the annoying pain in my forearm. I like the sound of the marble rubbing against each other as it is practically like meditation. If it's too difficult at first using this size ball, try ordering a smaller one. Either way, be patient with yourself and things may get better with you as it has with me.

So, these arrived and I was thrilled because it had been years since I'd owned a set of baoding balls. My 18 month old daughter took an interest right away, so I let her hold them as soon they were out of the package. With great glee, and to my immense horror, she slammed them together like a giddy jackrabbit hyped up on meth half a dozen times, before I was able to snatch them away. I gotta tell you folks, these things are SOLID marble. Aside from the itty bitty chip which I'm pretty sure I can buff out, they were unscathed and still roll as smoothly as they should. They're gorgeous too.

these are great if you put them in the freezer and use them for therapy, they are the perfect size for you hand and you can use them for working out knots.

Got these because I always like how Furious Styles in “Boyz N Da Hood“ used them. But these are not completely spherical and one has circular cracks on the north and South Pole essentially. Maybe I should send them back. Or get a new pair.
