I have purchased this product 7 times from Amazon. I always keep a spare. I bought my last tube in December 2019 and this week, Sept 2020, removed it from celophane and opened it to use. It had the most offensive smell....and not one I wanted to put on my hair. I have always liked the product but not sure I will buy again. Because I bought it over 30 days ago I can't return it. I didn't want to open it until I needed it so kept it sealed. I'm not chancing another $20 on something I can't use. Not sure if they have changed their formula, but I know I have kept previous tubes just as long and had no problem. Beware!

If I could rate this product zero stars (or, better yet, negative stars), I most certainly would. I have used Brocato products for years (ordering several times through Amazon). I've been satisfied with the products & services I've received....until now, that is. Firstly, the tube I received looks nothing like the picture shown. Secondly, & more importantly, the product itself is NOT the same. Seriously. Nothing about it is the same. Not even the scent. And it is not a paste at all but rather a creme. (See pic) It's basically worthless as it serves only to make my hair a flat, wet mess!

I used to love this product. It was soft, creamy and easily vanished into my hair when applied. It was never crusty and had a good hold. They recently changed the formula and I don't like it anymore. It is much thicker, more difficult to work into my hair and I frequently end up with an unnoticed chunk of goop and crusty hair. Also, somehow the new thicker formula doesn't hold as well.

I've tried about dozen different structuring pastes - all of them were mediocre at the best.This product is not shiny, not sticky (after application),virtually has no scent.I am 40 and my hair are getting thinner every year - using this product makes my hair look as they were 10 years ago.The container is great - easy to apply on a palm.I got it 5 starts as I can not seebwhat else can be improved.

Great product, and cheaper than ordering directly from the manufacturer if you factor in shipping (if you're a Prime customer). This is the only product I use in my short-ish hair. Not sticky, applies well on damp hair. Originally recommended by the best stylist in my city.

I have used this product for years and now despise the new formula. It is a cream and no longer a paste.

Second time I used it there was white residue. Poor product unfortunately.
