The tent definitely has lightweight, and easy to fold. It's very good for families. For using at the beach, I suggest you need to dig a hole and put the four stick into the hole and cover a pile of sand. That will be more stable to resist the wind.

The first one we ordered was broken. We did quickly recieve a second one as a replacement, but not before we had to leave on our trip to the beach. We decided to use the broken one because it was all we had... it was a total waste! I have 2 toddlers and we ended up not using it at all! The family next to us felt pitty on us and let us use their canopy. Definately not big enough for 2 parents and 2 toddlers.Which is confusing to me because I saw so many pictures of full grown men in the tent. Also, you cannot sit in a chair and see out of the tent. I am not a very tall person, but when I sat in my fold out chair my sight was covered by the top of the tent that hung down. Somehow we let time pass us by and we were unable to return the orginal we purchased, or the replacement- which we never even took out of the box. So it was a double waste of money!!!!

The other reviews I was hoping to experience. The great part about this is it folds out and folds up very easily. The bad part is even with the lightest breeze, this thing is not going to stay in place! First we try just the steaks, no go. Next we tried the four provided sand bags and fill them as full as we could. We tied them to each of the four corners and staked those to the ground. It still fell over on the side that had the breeze. Great idea in theory, just does not execute very well.

We're a family of 'light skinned beauties' who need some shelter from the sun. I liked the design of this tent versus others or an umbrella because it was a good size and would give us a barrier from the sand.If I could offer some advice, I would suggest taking out the tent and setting it up the first time at home, before an outing. I was excited about the pop and go feature, but during the afternoon at the beach our tent took a bit of a beating and became misshapen and awkward. (Not to mention how ridiculous I must've looked trying to get it unlocked and set up.) But honestly, this could've been avoided if I'd messed with it prior to our trip to the beach.When we got home I sprayed it down and decided to figure out how to better secure it while it dried. I'm attaching photos in hopes that they help. It comes with 6 stakes, but 8 -10 would be ideal for maximum stability. I staked these in dirt, so I'm not too sure how securely they will hold up in sand, but with the wind and kids coming in and out/ flopping around, I will most definitely take the time to better secure it next time.I found step 4/5 to be a bit confusing with A and B labels on the diagram. But I think I got it working now.The next trick will be getting it back in the bag when it dries! Wish me luck! Glad I made this purchase, I'll get it figured out eventually.

Bought this for the beach... priced well, easy to set up a little tricky folding down until you get it! Definitely a good buy....my daughters enjoyed there lil canana like tent at the beach....a must have if you go to the beach!

The first 2 times we used the was awesome the the 3rd time we were at the beach the plastic flexible tubing you put the stakes in to hold it down shaped off and now we can't use it. Loved the concept, light weight. Wonderful for the beach but unfortunately I'm not sure I would buy it again

Bought this for a beach trip tomorrow. Delivery was quick. Tried out the tent in the house beforehand according to the instructions and video online. It opens pretty easily and it's a good size within the tent, but when I was folding it up as described, "twist at the midline like a figure 8" the fiberglass frame snapped. Maybe not durable as it says.

I like this tent. It's pretty big, fits at least 2 adults with room for bags. Included accessories help keep the tent down especially during windy days at the beach.
