Harder and harder to find -- cotton briefs with old-fashioned style that stay where they are supposed to without riding up. I hope Vanity Fair keeps making these. The double fabric crotch area has gotten smaller than it was years ago, but I guess you expect that -- cheaper and cheaper quality with cost remaining the same (or more!) Still though, these are the best cotton briefs I have found.

These are perfect panties for apple figured Women who have thinner legs and don't want a little belly peaking out of Huge leg openings. They wash nice and are comfortable to wear. But use a size chart and measure for best fit.

I ordered the size I always wear in cotton underwear. Before this order, I have always bought such things in a local department store, and have bought the Vanity Fair brand before in a slightly different style. These I ordered online seemed to be well made, with good quality fabric. My only complaint is that they shrunk much more than other cotton underwear I have bought and used for years.....so much so that they are almost uncomfortable now. They were washed and dried in the dryer on low heat, as I always do with cotton garments. Even though they are very nicely made, I will have to buy another brand or style next time.

I've been buying and trying out several brands of cotton classic cut women's briefs. These come in at second place to Jockey for me as far as fit and quality. They have uncovered elastic at waist and legs (Jockey has rolled covers over the elastic at both places). However, I will say that they seem to have used a better quality elastic on these briefs than many of the other brands I've tried (Woman Within, Roaman's) in recent years. The thickness of the cotton is nice, too. (I detest those cheap brands where you can practically see through the cotton because it's so thin.) I've only had them for a few weeks, so can't really address how well they will hold up, but overall they seem to be a good quality. I'm 5'4" and 220 lbs. and got a size 10, if that helps anyone figure out how the sizing runs.

The cotton is the best--very soft with no pills. Nothing digs or slides around and I got 2 different sizes 9&10 and wear both. I suppose that's a size up or two for me (164 mushy lbs. but a long rise) but I was concerned about shrinkage. They are so comfy and don't look stupid either--just a nice clean undies look. Not grandma-esque. Crotch-panels are average width; I guess for wider you'd need the Plus. Seems like they'll last a while too. They don't seem to shrink too much but I dry cottons outside of the machines. Sweet that they come on individual little hangers. So that's it. These are the only ones I'll wear anymore.

I have been wearing Vanity Fair for years. They last and last. I have had several pairs that have lasted for 6-8 years. Love the light blue color I chose in cotton. Fits great. Normal cut not high on the thigh. I need more pairs of these

Several months ago I purchased 5 pair of size 12 in the color "candle glow". I absolutely love them they fit perfectly and the comfort was really nice. This time I purchased the color "Fawn" because for some reason they are $5 cheaper than the "candle glow" pair. I purchased four pairs of the "Fawn" color size 12 and every pair was off in size. Not one pair was the same size, they were all much bigger than the size 12 in the "candle glow" color. I have no idea how to advise someone to order the correct size in the "Fawn" color because the size 12 for each pair is all over the place in size an not at all consistent! I have attached the first photo with the "Fawn" size 12 and "candle glow" size 12 laying on top and you can see the size difference. The second photo are both the "Fawn" color I just purchased to show you the size difference. As you can see they aren't the same size as they should be. Very disappointed because I washed them and threw away the packaging before trying on.

I purchased these for my Mother-in-Law (a very sweet lady!) and she gives these 5+ stars. She says they're the most comfortable, most perfectly-fit panties she's ever worn. She used to purchase these at her local NY stores, but can't seem to find this particular style and size anymore, so I looked them up here on Amazon and voila! the size and style are here! She was delighted and I was glad to be able to gift them to her. She wears a size 5 and prefers the Fawn color, unfortunately size 5 is only available in white. Other than that it's a win-win.

I washed before wearing then worn and washed twice and already they're developing small holes in the material. For the price I paid (thinking I was getting 8 pair... not size 8) I certainly expected quality. I have underwear from Zellers I paid 99 cents for...way back when that are still in great shape. This is dollar store quality junk! Save your money and for the same price get a package of them at Walmart.

My 90 year old mother has been looking for underwear that has more coverage in the crotch area and not high cut in the leg. These were a good fit for her. I think they fit true to size but she ordered a Large and extra large just in case they shrink. She’s happy with her purchase. Will likely buy again. I may order some too! And we are very pleased with the prompt delivery.

I ordered the medium size of this underwear, but I received the extra large size. I want to return it, but I am having a problem printing the return label. It prints the "Additional Instructions" and the "Return Authorization label" but it does not print the " Return Mailing Label" It just print an empty box. How can I print the "Return Mailing Label"?

I have ordered this size for years and was very surprised to find it is now longer as if for a very tall person. Will nevwe order again

The product itself, is excellent. What I didn't like was the fact that it took 14 days to get here, yet the first time I ordered this product it only took 4 days.
