Victorian style and practicality
I will update this review when it has been field tested in India. It is a beautiful hat with fine mesh, and yet easy to see through. The elastic cord round the bottom of the neck should keep the little blighters from crawling up.Only to be worn if you intend to glide serenely around like a modern version of a Victorian lady. They were wise in those days. Factor 50 sunscreen made veils unpopular, and you would probably look a right twitt wearing it if you backpack and stay in youth hostels. But if you go for glamour, decent hotels and react badly to bites, this looks perfect.

Good product but would be better in green
It's a good product and does the job of keeping midges away. I just wish they did green as I am quite aware of the beige colour mesh in front of my eyes. I've had green before in another style and it was less notable.

Very large sizing, more for a man than a woman, couldn't see anything much through the mesh, too thick.
