Feels Unusually Sturdy
Just today I got my ice cream maker, an expensive Italian one that with the push of two buttons makes, apparently, the best ice cream/sorbet/gelato in the world. (So well packaged is it that I will need two days to completely unpack it.) Well, one cannot have such a fabulous ice cream maker without ice cream containers to put it in. I looked around and found myself settling (very happily) on these. I purchased two sets (of two containers each). They are washed now and awaiting their first round of ice cream. What I really appreciate about them is their sturdiness. The tops are silicone and somewhat floppy (in the way silicone is). Perhaps I should say flexible? The high quality tops fit the containers extremely well and are easy to get on and off due to that. The containers are a strong and sturdy plastic with a smooth interior that allows for expansion of the ice cream as it freezes while the outside has a bit of texture that makes for a good hand grip. You can literally feel the quality of the containers and what I also appreciate is the company's array of sizes from the pint or mini (8 oz.) size up to the large oval two-quart one. I bought the one-quart size, though I am considering the smaller ones too as these would be easier to bring as a gift. Highly recommended.

Sturdy and Convenient for Homemade Ice Cream Delights
I purchased these ice cream containers a year ago specifically for storing homemade ice cream, and they have proven to be a worthwhile investment. The containers are made from sturdy material, which not only ensures durability but also makes them easy to clean—a huge plus in my book. The design of the lids is one of the standout features. They pop off easily when you need to access the ice cream but remain snug enough to prevent any freezer burn or leakage, even after a year of use. Making ice cream at home has become a fun project that I enjoy with my child, and it's always a delight to surprise my nephew with new flavors whenever he visits. The containers have made this process seamless, from preparation to scooping. For a real treat, try making a homemade custard—it scoops out effortlessly without any sticking. These ice cream containers are ideal for anyone who loves making ice cream at home. They are reliable, easy to use, and make the homemade ice cream experience truly enjoyable. I'm definitely happy to have them on hand when summer rolls around and it’s time to whip up some frozen treats.

The jury is still out for deliberation
I did a fair amount of research prior to making this purchase. This brand received pretty good reviews overall. PROS - durable, soft, washes well, doesn’t leave the smells or tastes from previous flavors. CON - The top doesn’t fit snug & a thin layer of ice forms on the ice cream. I ensured that no one scooped the ice cream out with a wet scooper; thus creating a thin layer of ice, but it’s always present. Although it’s only one con, that’s literally the main job of the container so that’s a big deal. My fix is to cover the ice cream container with a layer of plastic before putting the top on...but with kids in the house it’s not an ideal solution. My kid’s fix is to eat the ice cream faster; so now it’s a race against freezer burn (which begins forming after 2 days). BOTTOMLINE: I would cautiously recommend in the event we received a defective/used/somehow inferior or degraded product. It is a nice looking product. I personalized them using my Cricut & planned on purchasing a few more for each family member but I’ll do more research 1st.

Best containers for homemade ice cream!
These containers have worked so well for homemade ice cream. They are very easy to clean and are very durable. They stack together, so they don't take up a lot of space. They work much better than storing ice cream in the freezer in glass containers I was using. Definitely recommend if you make ice cream!

It handled 2 of the main problems I have had with ice cream containers
I often wonder if manufacturers ever bother to test their products. Well, these guys certainly did. The lid comes off extremely easily, even after being in the freezer. Never happened with any other container I tried (except the paper ones store-bought ice creams comes in). And, the material and its texture allow you to comfortably hold the container right out of the freezer. Even the paper ones don't have that. And on top of that, it's a good size, attractive, and the mint color lid fits my kitchen perfectly. Couldn't ask for anything more.
