The Wright Stuff Medi-Beads Moist Heat Standard Pad 9"x12"

The warm, moist heat is so therapeutic. Medi beads are odor free unlike the organic heat pads. Lasts a LONG time.

I had a total knee replacement and the ice packs I had would sting. This particular ice pack was great, stayed cold, didn't sting and was comfortable. I'll be using it for my other knee surgery.

This compress produces a very penetrating, soothing heat-- I think much more so than a heating pad. I got the standard size (9x12), and it is just big enough for the back and one side of my neck. It only takes 1.5-2 minutes to heat up, and I start with 1 min 30 sec, then tip it side to side to mix up the beads, then add 15 sec at a time until hot enough. I strongly suspect the people who are having holes burnt in their products are heating it for too long at a time, and/or are not "stirring" the beads during the heating process. Unfortunately, it only holds good levels of heat for about 10-15 minutes. That isn't a big problem for me, but if you have a bad back and can't keep going to the microwave to top it up, could be a big problem for you.

This my second time of ordering this heating pad. It's like a dream come true and is the one thing that provides relief from back muscle pain. I would highly recommend it.

Great for back and shoulder muscle pain. I purchased a different brand last year and I did not like the length or material, but this one is like my old one that I have had for 15 years, but was just worn out. It work wonderfully. I even use it every night in the winter (Ohio raised) to warm me up in bed. It's the perfect size for small adults.

This product heats well and holds the heat, but a major drawback for me is that the pad isn't full of beads. The empty spaces make the pad a bit uncomfortable to lie on. It feels lumpy and uneven. I used a similar product for years It was completely full of beads and was so comfortable, I could fall asleep on it. I wind up throwing this one on the floor after a bit so I can sleep.

It’s so easy to throw in the microwave and then enjoy the soothing heat. I’d have trouble living without it!

Use this everyday for my aching back

I use these every day and sleep with them as well for back and leg pain. I have purchased several times over the last eight years. I only issue is that they do sometime break open, however I think it is because the microwave is too hot.

Works well, holds the heat nicely, my only complaint is that the central stitching started to give way after only a few uses. I will have to repair it myself but perhaps they could use a better thread?

I'm a user and will continue using this item for many a year, yes indeed. It comforts me while relaxing and eases my pain tremendously. As a matter of fact it is so good you forget you have pain. I highly recommend this product...
