Even a dad can use it!
Can’t really complain about this brush. My daughters hair can be an absolute nightmare and for a dad brushing hair can be a challenge. I definitely can’t use straighteners without scalding her and this appeared a happy medium.Using them was easy and the heat really helped get some of the tangles out and a decent starting point for her to take over to do as girls do to style the rest.Happy with my choice and got a few dad point in the mix too.

not performing as well as the bigger wider similar brushes.
I have a medium long beard, and bought this product as it was alledgedly better, and had a better form factor for beards. The product came with a "UK" plug adapter, as it is orignally fitted with a European style plug. The "adapter" is useless, as it only has 2 pins, and without the third, you can't insert it in the socket. on top of that, it is so loose that it doesn't even stay on the plug!So the company could save a few pennies by not including that bit and avoid sending them to landfill for nothing. Bad point. My solution is to shove a screw driver in the top pin hole of the socket, and insert the european-style plug straight in the socket. Not the safest / official way of doing things, but it works like a charm.OK, in term of performance, yes it straightens the beard, yes it heats up well and quick. But compared to the larger type of heated comb (I bought this type before: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B075MD81LC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), I feel like the straightening effect is not as long lasting: The "kink" in my beard comes back quicker, and doesn't stay in check as long (even after putting oil & balm in the beard).I would have thought that the smaller shape, narrower comb would perform better on a beard, but I find that I need to use it longer to get to similar results (albeit not as long lasting).Yes it works on the head too, but it is a bit uncomfortable, as the "teeth" of the comb are quite thin and hard so not too pleasant. So if that's your first heated beard comb, I would say go for it as it works, and is about £10 cheaper than the other type mentioned above, but if you already have the other type of comb, stick with it.You can see what my straightened beard (and my ugly mug) looks like after using it without any product (oil or balm) added.Yes I should have added a "before" pic, but I stumbled upon the request to review the product after... So maybe in a future edit of this review (if I remember)

NOT CORDLESS NOT UK PLUG
Not what was expected. Definately not cordless as was written in the description when I ordered. Does not have UK plug fitted rather a 2 pin and an adaptor which is not particularly secure to the attached lead. It dies get warm and kind of works. Overall though dissapointing and one of a very many other identical but less expensive items available on amazon. I chose to pay for this because it was described as cordless and would have returned it had I been able to however.. Life happens and other priorities took over.

Did not heat up and has a dangerous adapter
The straighteners were defective as they did not heat up at all, even after being plugged in and switched on for 20-30 minutes. They also come with a dangerous two prong adapter. The two prong adapter converts EU style round pins to two rectangular UK style pins without a third ground pin. The issue here is that UK plugs are designed with a safety measure where the ground pin opens doors covering the live and neutral, and since this doesn't have a third pin, cannot be insterted into a standard UK socket without either jamming something into the ground to open the doors or use a socket without the safety device.

DOES NOT WORK
NOT WORTH PURCHASING (worth 0 stars for all but it was not an option)I bought this product as a Christmas gift and the person whom I bought it for could not wait to use it (on their wish list).First issue - not suitable for UK plugsockets which wasn't made clear on the ad. No adapter was provided so had to buy one to substitute.Second issue - once pluged into a plug adapter it blown the fuse within the first few seconds of it being switched on. Believing it may have been a faulty adapter, I purchased another and the same happened again. My assumption now being there is too much power for the adapter to cope.Very disappointed and now stuck with a expensive brush. Hopefully this review will warn others not to waste their money on this product. You live and you learn and will definitely read the reviews before purchasing anything next time! Clearly this product needs be removed amazon for being so poor quality and not providing a genuine product.

Would recommend!
Good straighteners, used on beard and they work very well, no risk of burning yourself like some other brands! Would recommend for the cost!Note - these come with a EU plug (same as my Philips toothbrush did) - an adaptor will be required if not using a shaving socket!

It did tame my beard?
Ok I'm a bloke and I'm new to this grooming lark, it took me a while but even I made my beard look respectable. Yes it wasn't easy but I got there in the end. So if I can do it then anyone can!

Great, but would be better with U.K. plug
This product is good, took out the whispy bits of my hair easily. Only thing, none of the plugs supplied fit in U.K. sockets, luckily I have a shaver adapter. Can’t understand why these things when sold in U.K. don’t have U.K. plugs. Was thinking of sending it back, I’ll see how it goes the the adapter.I have now had to return this didn’t heat up on third use...crackling noise after plugging it in.It’s a good idea though for styling hair.
