This cam will have a fair idle with some lope with good midrange torque in the 2400-3200 RPM range and good operating power in the 2000-4800 RPM range. Street performance cams work best with slightly modified engines with compression ratio of 10.3-1 or less. Headers, dual exhaust, and 4 barrel carburetor recommended. Can use manual or automatic transmission with stock convertor. Axle ratio of 3.70-1 or higher is best. Recommended valve spring pressure: 110 lbs. closed and 280 lbs. open.
