Keeps the missus happy
Bought this as the free view signal in the bedroom can get spotty at times. Rather than paying an extra £xx a month just to get a second Virgin box in the bedroom I thought I would try this out.Set-up was a bit of a head scratcher, trying to use the transmitter as the device to connect to the living room TV would not show a signal. The only way to get it to work was to use a HDMI 1 in 2 out splitter (purchased separately) from the Virgin box, with one HDMI going to the transmitter and the other directly to the TV. Connect the IR cable to transmitter and place the end in front of the Virgin box if you wish to control the TV from the receiver. It works great, though the bedroom is directly above where the transmitter is the results could vary depending on the distance. Clear picture, next to no latency (I turned the volume up from the living room TV and listened if the bedroom was behind and could not tell them apart). Every now and then the signal will drop but a simple turn off then back on fixes it.Keeps the missus happy watching crappy love island (please send help)

Brilliant piece of kit.
Brilliant piece of kit that I didn’t have a hope of working properly. It was to connect CCTV base system in garage to monitor in lounge. Two walls and about 25ft. Picture is perfect and with no distortion. I could not have wished for better. I’ve added a wireless mouse so I now have full control of the garage base unit.

Worked for a few days then.....
This item did work well for the first few days but then I couldn't get either sound or picture. I tried every combination of switching things on and off and back on again but nothing seemed to work. This is the third time I've tried to have a remote TV and all three have failed. They were not all this model, tried a Pakite and a Marmitek before this one. When this did work, the picture and sound quality were very good but sadly, that didn't last.Pretty well given up now.

laggy picture
I'm using this to literally transmit from sky receiver to my projector across the livingroom, a distance of about 4 metres to replace an extended HDMI cable. Sorry to say that whilst technically it works and setup was easy, but it's got lag on the picture which means watching sports isn't really practical. The picture is jumpy and not really viable for viewing. It didn't do the job I hoped it would. There's nothing phyiscally between the two receivers so this isn't about difficulty transmitting through the wall or anything like that, it just doesn't do the job.

Total waste of money (and time)
There are much better ways to spend £109 then flushing it down the drain with this piece of junk. For starters, it would not work out of the box with signal taking absolute ages to sync, and when it did, picture quality was terrible and it would disconnect on its own, with no reason at all. And that's just testing with the boxes not 5 meters away from each other.Want to burn your money and lose whatever hair you have left on your head? go ahead : it's your money and your hair. Me? I've just chucked the damn thing in the bin, and with it endless cursing on my own self for even contemplating this pile of junk.

Got a picture but no sound
It sounded too good to be true, and it was. I managed to get a picture but good a rattling (like holding cardboard to the spokes of a turning bicycle wheel). Tried different set ups but the same for all. Also interferes with Sky Q function. Finally, had problems getting a refund through contacting Amazon help; the operator did not appear to follow that I just wanted a refund and took more than an hour to get the message through.

Just what we were looking for
Very pleased with the quality so far, regarding sound, picture etc. It can sometimes go out of sink, but this is normally due to fast forwarding or rewinding a program. Transmits through two walls with no problems. Have it connected to virgin media, and we are able to use the remote control with no issues. Was very apprehensive about it working, but so far very pleased. Just make sure you purchase hdmi cables. We have found their is a trick to starting the system up each time we want to use it, in order to connect, but simple and straightforward process.

Not very good no recommendations given
Tested and sent back. Works through one wall from next room but no further, the picture is not good, like over contrast and over vivid colours. There is a sound lag that disjoints speech from the video... not comfortable to watch. It is not plug & play, must be switched off and on every time Tv is used or input source changed.
