Very smooth writing with enough ink to last for a while. In the last couple of years, I have come to greatly appreciate the writing efficacy and the cost-effectiveness of the Pilot G2 series. I used to be a big "S-kraft" fan, but in the fine point, I vastly prefer these G2 pens.

The best pens you can get. Write smoothly and evenly, dry quickly so no smearing. True black in color unlike some other ink pens. I have never had a pilot G2 pen mechanism break either. A staple in our home.

I keep a collection of these at my desk and work space. I love these pens and they are always my go to, they feel great in my hand which is a necessity because I am a sketch artist and journal in cursive on a daily basis. The 0.7 is the perfect fine point without being too thin or scratchy, and not to thick. The black is perfect, but I have also used Pilot G2's in red, purple, etc. The clip is always reliable and I've never had one break or crack even after being in my pocket, purse, or hanging off of multiple sketch pads of varying thickness. Depending on what kind of paper I am using they might smudge slightly if it is a glossy or card paper, but never anything catastrophic or unreadable. Bought another 12 pack after I used up the last one!

These are great pens on their own and work very well that being said that is not the main reason I purchased them. The original pen itself has a nice grip and writes great. If you are into 3D printing there are many print things that you can make with these pens. When using them with the 3D printing projects there is some waste as usually the spring, ink cartridge, and lower part of the pen. I will get more of these as the 3D projects are fun to make. Picture is just one reference of what can be made.

These pens write smoothly, have a comfortable grip and the ink never clogs up. My middle and highschool aged kids and pilot husband all hand prefer the PILOT G2 Pens.

These are pretty much my go-to pens at this point. I’ve used a lot of different ones over time, and I keep coming back to these because they’re just consistently smooth and easy to write with. The ink flows well without skipping, and the fine point gives clean, controlled lines, which I like for notes and anything where I’m writing smaller or trying to stay neat. They’re dark and readable without being overly bold. The grip is comfortable, especially if you’re writing for a while. Doesn’t feel like you’re fighting the pen or having to press hard to get it going. They also dry fairly quickly for a gel pen, so I don’t run into much smearing unless I really drag my hand across it right away. This is a plus when I have to sign a lot of documents back to back, as the ink is usually dry by the time I sign and move to the document pile to prevent transfer. I like that they’re refillable, too. If you stick with these long enough, it’s nice not having to keep buying completely new pens every time. Only small thing is, like most gel pens, they’ll go faster than a standard ballpoint if you’re writing a lot—but that’s kind of the tradeoff for how smooth they are. Overall, just a dependable, everyday pen that works well for pretty much anything. Pilot have been a standard in writing tools for me for a while and there are plenty of good reasons to stick with them. Not a bad price either for a set of 12 which should last a good long while before needing to seek refills.

I don’t usually get emotional about pens… but these? These deserve a standing ovation. They write SO smooth it almost feels illegal. Like, I catch myself writing things I don’t even need just to keep the vibe going—grocery lists, random thoughts, probably a novel at this point. The ink flows perfectly, no skipping, no scratching, just clean, crisp lines every time. And can we talk about how consistent they are? Every single pen in the pack shows up ready to work. No “this one’s a dud” energy. Just 12 overachievers doing their job flawlessly. They’re comfortable to hold, last a long time, and make my handwriting look way better than it actually is—which is a win for everyone involved. Highly recommend. Just don’t lend them out unless you’re emotionally prepared to never see them again.

I love this pen and so do other people apparently. I had to order these because others had to do my job for a while and my pens mysteriously disappeared without anyone else knowing what happened to them. Figures. I hate thieves.

Amazing product, the only downside is that you have write a few pages to get that smooth writing. All in all it is a great product.

Use these heavily for study and exams. I used to bring 3 pens in as they would always get stuck and stop writing, hasn't happened at all with these and they still write more smoothly and smudge less.
