Works perfectly
It's working perfectly with no problems whatsoever. Opens at rated temperature and has eliminated my overheating issues completely.

Great TStat. Might be too cold for my truck.
I bought this t-stat because mine in my 1995 7.5L F250 was running well into the A or L in NORMAL when hauling. My fan clutch was working so decided to try this out. Now it rides slightly above N while idling. I'm going to test drive it around to make sure it actually doesn't run too cool when driving, but I can't fault the TStat for doing its job exactly as described on the tin. Excellent TStat and works very well.

Works too well for ford ranger.
Thermostat works exactly like it is supposed too. 160° average on the money. The problem is, in my truck (2004 ford ranger 3.0) that temperature is low enough that it will cause a check engine light. Works great, just don't use it for a ranger

We needed this thermostat for my hubby's classic truck. He has a big engine and things need to stay cool and not heat up. He replaced the 180 degree thermostat that he initially installed but realized he needed a 160 degree thermostat instead. After reading many things on the internet, this particular model/brand was highly rated and we were so happy to find it on Amazon. Love this!
